After sleeping all morning, lots of liquids and love from mama, I’m happy to report that Ethan is doing much better. I honestly thought he’d end up in the hospital, especially after finding him on the floor of his bedroom this morning because he “felt too weak to crawl back into bed” after getting up to get his water bottle.
Now, we’ll just have to wait and see how long it takes for the rest of the family to get what he had. Joy! (And I’ll NEVER admit that I secretly hope I get it so that I can lose a few pounds.)
Awww I’m glad he’s feelin’ a little better.
My sister’s family all had that flu over Christmas, they wound up in bed for two weeks it was just so bad.
A mom’s job is never done especially when yah got a barfy kid on your hands so heres hopeing you dont get sick too!
And congrats on the baby your sister had, too!
: )
Hurray!!
I have sometimes wanted my kids’ flu for the same reasons…
But I hope you don’t get it because it will suck!!!
Happy to know he’s better 🙂 Now I can sleep good not worrying about my fav Ethan 🙂 Thanks for the update Yvonne 🙂
As bad as the flu is, I too have had those thoughts. I am glad he is getting better!
May I suggest white grape juice? It really helps to replenish what was lost in the puke and poop. It works wonders around here.
Glad Ethan’s feeling better. I am sure you’re exhausted. Make sure it’s a lazy Sunday for everyone.
I’m glad he’s feeling better!
I think the same thing!! Every year, I wonder why I can’t get the flu so I can vomit for a week and lose about 10 pounds. I’ve never had the flu in my life. Maybe next year. heh
glad to hear he’s starting to feel better
In case you were wondering, why grape juice, it’s loaded with potassium. One cup has about 75% of the potassium of a banana so it helps the body to recover faster.
happy (belated) new year and all the best for 2005. and i’m glad ethan is doing better. ’tis the momma-love that can make almost everything okay. hope you got a lazy sunday and some time to relax..
I’m so glad he’s starting to feel better. And I’ll keep prayers for you that the rest of the house doesn’t get it.
