StriVectin-SD Review and Your Chance to Win $100 Gift Card

When I was a teenager and in my early twenties, my skin care regimen consisted of terribly bad things, like dousing my face with rubbing alcohol to try to clear my pores and get rid of the oils in my skin I believed were “clogging my pores.”

I cringe now when I think of how poorly I cared for my skin in my earlier days. It wasn’t until I turned 30 that I begin to take care of my skin and learned the value of having a good skin care regimen. It wasn’t until then that I started to notice, or even worry about, things like “fine lines” and “crow’s feet” and “wrinkles”.

I’m 41 now, and so I am careful to do all the things I can to care for my skin. I make sure to drink plenty of water to keep my skin hydrated; I try to get plenty of sleep to keep my eyes from looking puffy and tired. Most importantly, I make sure to do these things every night before I go to bed:

Remove my eye makeup.

Wash my face with warm-ish water, using a good cleanser.

Apply an eye cream.

Moisturize.

I do this routine every night, without fail, except for the rare night that I pass out on the couch while trying to catch up on my recorded television shows because I am old.

I don’t spend a ton of money on creams and potions, but if I hear about something that really works and that’s worth spending money on, I will splurge and give it a try. When I was given to opportunity to receive StriVectin-SD™ Intensive Concentrate for Stretch Marks & Wrinkles and give it a try for a review, I jumped at the chance. I’ve been told really good things about this product and was super excited to use it on my 41 year old skin.

I briefly considered using the product on my stretch marks but decided against it. I’ve had these stretch marks on my body for almost 20 years, they’ve grown on me and become part of who I am. So I chose to use the products on my face because while I’m not super stressed out about wrinkles, I wouldn’t be sad to see them diminish. I’ve been using the product for about two weeks now and here is what I can tell you.

I love the way the StriVectin-SD™ Intensive Concentrate for Stretch Marks & Wrinkles feels when it goes on. It’s got a bit of a minty smell and feel to it, but it’s not overwhelming. It doesn’t feel heavy or greasy at all. My skin feels invigorated after I apply it. I absolutely notice a difference in the way my skin looks and feels. The texture of my skin has improved. It’s softened, and it feels and looks much smoother. I don’t yet notice a huge change on the wrinkles, but my skin has definitely improved.

My husband even commented when I was putting my makeup on yesterday, so I’m not the only one who noticed.

I gained a lot of weight with my 3 pregnancies so I have a lot of stretch marks. I’d be interested in seeing how this ingredient treats stretch marks.

I like the gentle, continual exfoliation the NIA-114 does to the skin. It’s easier on the skin
for those like me with sensitive skin and who cannot use harsher chemical exfoliants. Softens lines and clarifies the skin.

I am interested in this two fold…I am very interested in how well it works on stretch marks- I have recently lost a fair amount of weight (still working on that) and would like to help with the stretchmarks…plus I am starting to get a little wrinkly- and I would like to help with that!

Like you I didn’t take such good care of my skin when younger, I’d love to see if it could help with wrinkles and splochiness I’m already seeing at 38.

I love how it is supposed to repair damage….interested to see if it would do that for my sun damaged skin and for my surgery scar.

It’s scary at times, to look in the mirror and see how much damage I did to my skin when I was a kid. I would love to see if it can give my skin some much needed “rejuvination”.

I like that NIA-114 repairs damage & works on wrinkles since I had some sun damage when I was younger and I am worried my skin will age quicker.

My skin has never been my best feature but of course is not improving with age. I would love to try something that would help improve the look of my skin without drying it out.

What interests me is that if I whenever I have a stretch mark, want to prevent or get rid of wrinkles I don’t have to buy two different products. It’s a interesting Product that kills two birds with 1 stone and combats two concerns women face as the begin to get older, lose or gain weight.

I read that NIA-114 helps niacin get into your skin, and that niacin repairs skin damage and helps to rebuild skin layers. That sounds wonderful!

I would be interested to know more about any clinical trials that were done and what the results were.

In any event, I am always up for trying a new skin product!

I was suckered into one of those fancy stores while in Las Vegas last year. The gorgeously groomed men totally lavished me in all their affections and loved on me while I racked up THOUSANDS in “creams” that they convinced me where working (“Can’t you see the beauty coming through, you gorgeous woman”). And the cream ran out, and I have wrinkles still…..I think I will try this next, even tho I will miss my beautiful men, my pocketbook will thank me.

I’m interested in this for two reason I am interested in how well it works on stretch marks and how well it works with the fine lines around my eyes.

I turn 42 this month. I am FASCINATED by anything that promises to make my skin look better. Don’t ever try to sell me camel’s blood facials, okay? Because it would be cruel to toy with a woman on the edge like that.

I have 47 year-old skin that’s still breakout-prone and yet needs moisturizing. Wrinkles and zits are awesome. I especially love it when I get a zit INSIDE the well of the wrinkle. Any help is appreciated.

I like that it fights off all visible signs of aging. I am 48 and am lucky to only see a few small signs. But I am not enjoying the ones I see.

I’d like to see how well this would work on my well established wrinkles. I know it’s too late to eliminate them but it would be nice to reduce them at least a little.
