“What is it with you and cars?”

I was on my way to the gym for my first Aerobic Dance class in almost 2 years. I was sitting at a red light, waiting for it to turn green. The second it turned green…
BOOM!
Rear. Ended.
I instantly felt pain in my back and neck. And in my heart because ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? We just got this car last year after PigHunter’s accident!
I wasn’t quite sure what had happened, but once I got out of the car, I saw that someone had rear ended the car behind me with such force that his car plowed into me.
I just got back from urgent care with a prescription of Soma (which is kicking in as I type this.)
More tomorrow. Or when I stop hurting.

Oh, dear … I hope you are feeling ok this am. And I hope the driver in between is feeling ok as well. Selfishly, besides hating this happened to you, I’m also bummed because I re-read all your aerobic-dancing posts last night and they are freaking hilarious … I was really looking forward to a good a.d. story this morning.

OMG, was hoping the “quotes” in my reader meant this was just a story and didn’t actually happen! I hope you didn’t wake with pain and the damage is not too great.

    Holy Crap !!!
That sucks… I really really hope you are ok, and the car repair situation isn’t going to cause you added pain in “Your” rear.
    Be Well !

    Oh no, Y .
I’m living my own nightmare of pain and PT and MRIs right now because I was rear-ended 5 months ago. I was in the 1st car hit and immediately felt pain. I can’t imagine how fast that person had to have been going to make your car get hit so hard.
I hope you are okay and don’t end up going through all that I have; it’s the worst.

I’ve always heard that aerobics are dangerous! Now they’re taking out people who haven’t even gotten to the class yet!
(not being snarky. trying to make you smile through the neck pain)

Oh dear! You know, I’m really big on fuel efficiency and practical cars. That being said …
I think you need a Hummer. Something short of tank. Jeezus.

Y! That sucks! You know it’s too many times when all of your readers see the title and think “crap, another accident??” without even beginning to read.
I hope you’re physically okay and that your car’s butt is covered properly this time!

I couldn’t post a comment on your previous post, so I’ll do it here. I have 4 year old twins and back in November one of them got sick with this fever that came and went for about a week and a half. It never spread to her twin. Finally, I ended up in urgent care. She was burning up, then freezing. It freaked me out. Turns out she had a bladder infection which had spread to her kidneys. I was shocked because she had never complained about it hurting to go pee. She did not show any of the, what a mom would think, “typical” signs of a bladder infection.
So, maybe you can ask to have her pee tested.
Mommy prayers to your little bebe.

Ack! That sucks! I hope you don’t hurt too much today. And please tell me that this time the person at fault had insurance!
Also, I just read your new post about G and I’ll be thinking of you guys. I hope she feels better soon!

MotherFUCKERS! I hope you and the guy behind you are feeling better very soon! (And I hope the idiot third in line has good insurance.)
I’m praying for your sweet daughter today. Can you insist on some further tests, or insist on staying until someone gives you a better answer than “just a virus”? I’m praying for healing and comfort for your daughter, strength and peace of mind for you, and wisdom and compassion on behalf of the doctors. *hugs*

I hope they were insured and that you are feeling better… however, I just read your post about Gabby and I’ll keep her in my thoughts prayers. Please let us know when you hear from the doctor.
