I know what song it is….but only because my SON watches it over and over again. Go figure. :p
She’s a cutie, and I think she sings beautifully. 🙂

  2. Diana

That was the CUTEST thing I have ever seen!!! That girl there has passion!
    She is so amazingly beautiful!

  3. Carolyn

oh. my. gosh is she so stinkin’ cute! I want to bite her cheeks! (in the most positive, non-creepy way possible).
we saw Little Mermaid on b’way this summer, and the soundtrack? SO. MUCH. LONGER. than the movie. let me know if you want a copy, I’ll burn it for you. but then your daughter would never stop listening to it (like mine) and you’d hate me forever. (trust me, I know–it’s already happened with two other friends).
SO CUTE. I especially love the modified SICK OF SWIMMING. SICK OF SWIMMING part.

she’s so dramatic, she couldn’t even stand to sing the whole song…she got bored and had to skip right to the high drama part!
    p.s.
she’s good, but she’s got nothing on your westin st. francis bathroom performance. anyone who was there will know EXACTLY which song she’s singing.

  5. Jess

Very good little singer you have there… I love the remix… and it’s probably more true than the original! LOL! Plus, is she in the bathroom?! That adds a touch to her little mermaid!

that was so great! my son used to watch that monie twice a day every day until i finally convincd him to watch the lion king… then if was “cant wait to be king? constantly… he doesnt get the idea of watching different movies. when he’s hooked, he’s hooked, good or bad. it’s so much fun though when they are so interested in something like that!

I have a funny story to tell you.
There’s a country in central Africa called Gabon. I had to memorize its capital, Libreville, along with a bunch of others for a test I had today. I remembered it because Gabon reminded me of G-Unit’s name, and how free (the French word for “free” is “libre”) and I remembered it for the test. I thought you might like to know that your family inspires me. 🙂
    Take care!

God, what a wonderful voice she has — I love how she’s mastered the soft and loud points of that song. Beautiful!

  9. AA

Ummm, seriously, I think that is the beginning of a very talented performer. You need to sign her up for voice and dram lessons ASAP. She is so cute too. And you live in CA. You should check into things. She might actually be able to do something.

  10. Chris

Oh.my.gosh. I’m in love with her. How cute is that??? Who can listen to what she’s saying when I can’t even get past those HUGE eyes??!!

  11. Julie

That made me laugh so hard. She is seriously cute. I can’t believe how she sings. And she is singing my favorite song from my favorite disney movie.

  12. alayna

Oh MY GOD! That was hilarious & AWESOME! Thanks so much for the laugh – I see entertainment in her future. I LOVE all of her dramatic moments. Too, too funny! And, she’s beautiful too!

  13. Kat

Y, I just absolutely lover her singing! LOL It puts this huge smile on my face every time I see her singing videos. She is so dramatic, she creates her own lyrics, but I know what song that is. hahaha
So lucky, you have the most adorable little girl ever.

  14. Meg from GA

So cute! She has a very good voice…but my favorite part was the little “burp” in the beginning! I’m going to be “sick of Swimming” in my head all day!

  15. Amy

How can you even stand the cuteness??? I got it- part of your world. It was the “thingamabobs, I got twenty” part that gave it away 🙂
    She is too stinkin cute!

  16. alyndabear

Oh my gosh, cutest thing ever.
I KNOW WHERE THE PEOPLE ARE
I KNOW WHERE THE PEOPLE ARE
Love the G-Unit. You’ve got yourself a performer, there!

  17. Jen

oh my god, i so needed to see that! she made me happy-cry! 🙂 thanks for sharing your “joy unexpected” with us.

  18. talda

i know that song! i may have sung it at a party one time. karaoke style. without the sanction karaoke. lol.
and i love how she’s quiet and then BELTS OUT THE WORDS suddenly for the dramatic emphasis. she’s a born performer!

  19. Helen

She is incredible! What a voice and so fabulously dramatic darling! Every time I see G, I am knocked out by how beautiful she is and also that I think she is a female version of my Eli…watch this and tell me if you think they would be a great act together, she could sing, he would dance…the possibilities are endless!

Oh my goodness. She is the most adorable thing ever. You could eat those cheeks. I love her “vibrato”. Precious. Seriously.

  21. Joy

I might not have gotten it right away if my daughter and I hadn’t read The Little Mermaid in a book of fairy tales last night. What an operatic approach to it – dynamics, vibrato, the whole works. And the serious expression too. Wonderful! Thanks for sharing 🙂

  22. Overflowing Brain (Katie)

I can’t wait until she’s a famous actress or singer one day and Entertainment Tonight replays this on television.
(And also, I would recommend not watching this at work, because the volume changes are dramatic(!) and perhaps people think you’re a little bit crazy. Which is not all bad.)
    A classic indeed.

  23. Michele

Wow! The passion! The vibrato! The exclamation points!
My 3 year old thought she did a beautiful job and sang along… and now wants to watch The Little fricken Mermaid. Dammit.
    Best version evah!

  24. Jennifer

I am always reading, but this is my first comment…. That was one of the most adorable renditions I’ve ever heard. I love the dramatic inflections in her voice! Plus, every song is made better when sung in the bath! Bravo!

  25. Angela

My watched my cousins for a summer once. They watched that movie 3 times a day, everyday.
You need to get your girl an agent, she has an awesome voice and is too stinkin’ cute!

  26. teri

I hope you don’t mind…I posted this video on my blog…I have watched it a couple of times and it just puts a smile on my face everytime.
When I was a girl, that song was a favorite of mine and when my little sister and I were sad, i would sing it to her and it would all be ok…
bless your daughter…she is a gem
