Come out come out wherever you are.

This week is Delurking week.
I roll my eyes when I say that outloud and yet, I would love to know who is reading but not commenting.
So, in the spirit of being a lemming, I am going to ask that you let yourself be known and leave a comment.
I only ask two things.
That you leave a real email address and that you tell me one thing that I should know about you.
Ready?
Go.

You should know that it took way too long to try to come up with a flashy comment. 😉
    Love your blog!

  2. Tami

I have been reading your site for along time but hate to leave comments! I love your site.I think your kids are so cute and you look like a fun person! I am a stay at home mom and I dont blog butI love to read about other people!

  3. Heatherq

I am officially de-lurking. I read you all the time and I think you are fabulous! You are real and honest and awesome in my opinion. And something you should know about me is that I just joined a gym and started going to a Cardio Dance class because you inspired me.

  4. FishyGirl

Since I have commented before I guess I’m not technically delurking, but I don’t comment regularly yet I read all the time, so this is a semi-delurk, I guess.
I have four kids and I went to Curves yesterday for the first time since I had my baby two months ago. Ouch.

  5. Heather J.

I am officially de-lurking. I read you all the time and I think you are fabulous! You are real and honest and awesome in my opinion. And something you should know about me is that I just joined a gym and started going to a Cardio Dance class because you inspired me.

  6. missbanshee

I don’t comment much, because I read mommy blogs insanely and I only have cats, so what the hell do I have to say about anything? But I will delurk for you, O Divine Y, cause I love. I even Loave. And your kids are something else, dude. Talk about gorgeous and divine. Not to mention their mama!

  7. Tuesday

I read often but don’t comment.
One thing about me? I hate touching or having anything to do with raw chicken.
    Obscure enough for you?

  8. tracey

delurk – i check everyday for the latest, but never comment. for me, no husband, no kids, just a dog. i love to see that there is actually a wonderful family out there and you give me hope. back to lurking….

  9. Murphy

Delurking here. Been reading for a couple years. I think you’re swell.
As for me, just a dad trying to get through parenthood.

  10. Suzy

My name is Suzy, and I am a lurker. There. It felt better to admit it. Something you should know about me…I am a little bit obsessed with your new puppy and I check your flickr pics several times a day to see if there are any new pictures up of him. I may or may not also talk to his pictures and tell him how cuuuuuuute he is and how I wanna smooooosh him up and kisssssss his little nooooooose. Sorry. I’m weird. Wait, that’s two things…..

  11. Cheryl

I think I broke something in my ass trying to do spinning class yesterday morning. All non-soft chairs are now my nemesis.
What? You didn’t need to know that?

  12. Amy

    Bout ya!
Been reading a while, but have no idea how I came across your site to begin with, but I keep coming back for more.

  13. Chana

I admit it…. I’ve been lurking for about a year now because I love your honesty, your bluntness and your writing style. I also love to look at your awesome photos in flickr. Something you should know about me is that I too am a mom of 3 and love to take photos and write. I blog on myspace.

  14. Cheryl

I have been reading you for at least 6 months and really enjoy your sense of humor. I have 2 “kids”. Aged 22 and 20. Yeah, “kids”. They grew up too fast and I aged just as fast. Enjoy these years.

  15. Betsy

De-lurking! I love stopping by to check on you. You always make me smile or, more often, laugh!
One thing about me: I have naturally red hair. I hated it growing up. Now? Not so much.

  16. lindsayc

hmm – I have commented here before but it has been a while so HI! and my one thing is: I have a 20 month old son and am 4 months pregnant.

  17. mo

i think i’ve commented before but i’ll get into the spirit.
uh, yesterday i got a macbook (belated christmas gift), i hate feet, and until about six months ago i wouldnt flush a toilet without blocking my ears…. i have no idea why.

  18. Adrienne

I have been reading for a little over a year and love your hilarious writing style and pictures. I have a daughter who is about the same age as yours.

  19. MsInterpreted

I’m not officially delurking since I too have left you comments before but I don’t do so on a regular basis because most of the time I feel like I’m just repeating everything that everyone else has already said. You have inspired me on more than one occasion and I am a daily reader.
The one thing you should know about me is that we are both Virgos and we are eerily a lot alike despite our totally different upbringings. Oh and also, I think you are HOT!

  20. Chris

Delurking here…. I too have 3 children – a boy and 2 girls. I love your writing, sense of humor and your fabulous photos!
    Chris

  21. Lotta

Ok. Officially delurked. Never thought you’d be interested in me and my blog, (IN THA SWEDISH LANGUGE!!) but here we go!! Go get confused!! OR get a late night class in Swedish.
    Love your words…:)

  22. rach

I have commented before, but very rarely.
One thing, about me? Damn this was hard. I choose… irrational; I am terrified of dinosaurs, and ET.
    Love love love your writing.

  23. Jennifer

I have been reading your blog since Gabby was born. I think I found your blog through someone else’s who directed everyone over to your blog to congradulate you (does that make any sense at all?) Anyway, you have been on my list of favorite links since then and I stop by often, but I never comment. Why do I never comment? Because I’m afraid I will sound like a totally bumbling dork (like I do now).

  24. Jen

I have commented a few times, but I’m a semi-lurker. Hi. One thing you should know about me? Um… I have the same birthday as Elvis.

  25. Valerie

I have commented here before but I will still delurk. Something you should know about me? I loved gloria vanderbilt perfume when I was a teenager, wish I could find it now.

  26. LT Garcia

    Hi –
I’ve been reading your journal for over a year but I’m pretty much a lurker. I think you are hilarious and cool. I have a long blogroll and your is one of my faves. Something about me is that I’m a middle aged part time stepmom to a 10 year old.
    Rock on, sistah friend!
    – Laura

  27. Zoot

The wonderful Google Reader has turned me into a Lurker, so I’ll delurk for you! One thing about me you may not know?
I was a smoker for 10+ years and just quit three years ago.

  28. prissymiss

I’ve been reading you for about 6 months, but I never comment. I figure you’ll never get around to reading my little bitty comment, after reading the first 25 or so.
What you should know about me…I relate to some of your entries about your dad, all that “you’re going to hell for this and that” :o(

  29. jessica

Alright, just this once I am de lurking. I have stopping in here since right after your adorable little girl was born. You are hilarious, and I love reading your new posts.
Hmmm, something about me…I have 2 boys and a girl….and my baby girl was unexpected also. Oh and I am also doing the diet/gym thing since having her.
You are an inspiration and have a way of making things seem not so bad!

  30. Not-so-Pregnant-in-Texas

I have commented a couple of times here before as well (although I admit not as frequently as I probably should).
The one thing that you should know about me is that you inspired me to join WW, which I ended up leaving because following the program was a little bit too much work. I’m on Jenny Craig right now and hungry 3/4 of the time, rather than the 9/10s of the time that I was hungry when I first started. You are not alone with your battle of the bulge!

  31. Angela

Hi! I’ve been reading your site for a few months now and I absolutely lurve your site.
Just one thing about me?? I’m an Aries.

  32. Julie

I love your blog. It reminds me so much of myself. The constant struggle with loving your body. The money struggles. I also was a stay at home Mom until my daughter went to school. I have 2 boys and that oh so wonderfully dramatic daughter! Thanks for sharing it all with us.

  33. anna

I’ve had you on my feed reader for many months. I read all of your posts. I have posted here maybe twice.
About me: I just got into my skinny jeans! It only took 30 hours of violent vomiting and diarrhea and three days of fever. The Chinese Buffet Diet.

  34. Erika

Hey Y, You know I love you and your site… but I probably don’t comment enough. So, HI!
One thing about me? Hmmm… yesterday was my birthday? (sorry, it’s all I got)

  35. Annie

Although I think I have posted previously, I thought I would leave a comment. I love your blog. It makes me smile and sometimes, laugh out loud.

  36. Heather

Um, hi! I have been reading you for about a year now and have never commented once. *oh, the shame*
My name is Heather and I used to live in SoCal (Go Lakers!) until I relocated to Akron, Ohio. For a job. Yeah. But! It is a really awesome job! I edit Erotic Romance. Yup, pretty much awesome.

  37. Valerie

I’m not really a lurker, I do comment from time to time. I live in Indiana and I am a mom of twingles: twins and a single!

  38. Vena

DeLurking — Been reading for about a year now. Wife and mother of three kids, two boys 21 & 19 and one girl 16. Like you on the long neverending road to weight loss. Really enjoy your site.

  39. KK

1.) Yes, thats my real e-mail address
2.) Your Blog makes me happier than you will ever know. Its is just like my life– only you are WAY funnier!!

  40. anne nahm

Hey Y: I don’t know if I have ever commented here, although I have talked to you on email. Here’s a delurking confession just for you :^):
I once took an aerobics class from a cute Russian girl who ended up being on last Season’s Apprentice – in the time between, she had become a stripper and made a million dollars! (Although I don’t think the million came entirely from stripping) Cheers!

  41. Brenda

I may have commented before, but I love your blog, you are really funny.
Something about me, I usually go to the gym but I barely exercised from October through December. Now I have a brand new gym to work out in and I’m back to exercising.

  42. Jessica

I’ve been reading your site for, oh, well over 3 years, but have only commented a handful of times, so I guess this could be called a de-lurk.
One thing you should know about me? My little girl is very close in age to Gabby, give or take a couple of weeks. I found out I was pregnant the same week you did!

  43. meowmix

semi-delurking. I think maybe I’ve commented a couple times. I’m in the process of trying to lose 50+ lbs and you’ve been a wonderful inspiration to me, even through your hard times. Oh, and you crack my ass up with your sense of humor. I’ve been reading for maybe 6 months or so now.

  44. dcrmom

Have I delurked before? I read daily, but I don’t know if I’ve commented before. I think you’re freaking hilarious. 🙂 Let’s see, something about me… I’m pretty boring, to tell the truth. I’ll just give you the basics, I’m a sahm to 3 kids in the suburbs of the Philly suburbs, if that makes any sense, lol.

  45. Joelle

    omg!!!!1!1!! I luv ur blog!!11!1!!
my name is joelle. i don’t like raw carrots. and you have my vibrator in your closet.
Ok, I’m not really a lurker. I’m just too lazy to actually comment. *loves you*

  46. Brandi

*waves* I never thought I’d do it but I’m delurking. I’ve been reading you for several months and you’re AWESOME. 🙂 Your blog is real and often funny… the best of it all.

  47. Brandi

P.S. Something you should know about me – I’ve been doing WW for a year now and have lost over 70 pounds. You’ve been a huge inspiration to me – on the days when your scale is down and when it’s up. 🙂

  48. Diz

I read you because you make me laugh – and that’s a good thing!
Hmm… one thing you should know about me? Going incognito, moving blogs, and changing your online moniker? Doesn’t get you any popularity points 😉

  49. ChrisP

Coming out of the lurking closet just for you. I’ve been reading for quite a while…just not good at thinking up comments. You are hilarious and your family is so cute. Oh…and I love your childhood stories. So close to some of my memories!
Something about me…I’d rather have a big bowl of mashed potatoes and gravy than cake!

  50. Danielle

Guilty of lurking and never commenting! I love your blog (the colors, the content)!
One thing about me…I’m boring 🙂
I’ll try to do better at commenting….

  51. Jenn

I found your blog from another blog from another blog. I honestly don’t remember but I found your writing funny. I enjoy people who write and it sounds real instead of some over educated prose. I never comment but I check at least once a week and read up on your life. Now that I have written it I kind of feel like a stalker. Another thing is that I also have a love of Jay, though I am not friends with him.
Nothing it all interesting about me other than I enjoy a good laugh and I fail miserably with any blog I try to start.

  52. dee

I think I’ve commented before, but you should definitely know that I’m reading your site instead of doing the work that is piled on my desk. Thanks for the distraction!

  53. Rosie

I’m a relatively new-ish reader from La Crosse, Wisconsin. No kids, but at 37 I haven’t given up hope yet. One thing you should know is that I’m (irrationally) afraid of boxelder bugs, but no other kind of bugs. Weird, I know. But they’re creepy!
    Rock on!

  54. Kellie

Not TECHNICALLY a FULL lurker as I’ve commented before but, here I am again 🙂 I enjoy your writing, you make me laugh! ONE thing about me? Good Lord, there’s so many….I am addicted to Target. NOT good for someone who has SEVEN of them within a 40 minute drive…ONE being EIGHT minutes from my house…forget the IRS, Target gets my money!! Keep writing and I’ll keep reading!

  55. Tammy

Delurking for the first time evah….!! I love the way you write and can relate to you on so many topics. I have girls 12 and 16.

  56. Lucy

Hi. I’m Lucy. I have been reading for a long time, maybe since you found out you were pregnant with Gabby, or maybe before and I still just love it! I am deathly afraid of cockroaches, just seeing the word makes me feel gross.

  57. Vicky

I’ve been reading your blog for a few months, like your writing and enjoy reading about your boys and your beautiful little girl who shares a name with my daughter.

  58. Kristy

Delurking from Texas. I’ve been reading your blog for a lonnnnng time. It’s definitely one of my favorites!
One thing about me: When I eat, none of my food can touch.

  59. Jackie

I have been reading your blog for a couple of months now but don’t think I’ve ever commented. I started reading when one of the other bloggers said how hilarious you are (was it POW maybe?)
I love your honesty and your sense of humor!!
    I am a SAHM of two — a 4-year-old and a 22-month-old.

  60. Ninotchka

I’ll bite. I’ve commented here before and sometimes comment on your flickr.
One thing you should know about me, hmmmm. OK, here’s one: I have 3 kids too. I FEEL YOUR PAIN.
    (Kidding!)
    (Sort of)
    🙂

  61. Carolyn

I just found you this week, and am loving your writing. Sarcasm? Swearing? Parenting? Love it all. I think I found you via Cheeky Lotus, but I’ve spent waaay too much time online this week so it could’ve been anywhere. I’ve linked to you on my blog, which should provide you with tons more readers, somewhere in the neighborhood of….two. Maybe. So you’re welcome!
One thing about me you should know? I hate loud chewing noises. So keep your Doritos in a noise-insulated room.
Other than that, I’m pretty easy to get along with. 🙂
    70 comments! HA! I don’t think I’ve gotten 70 in a year and a half!

  62. Sadie

I read regularly but rarely comment…but I love your raw honesty. And I hate that you sometimes have another commenter named Sadie who leaves asshat remarks, because she’s giving me a bad name!
Something you should know: I am 28 years old and have never had a coffee in my life. I love the smell but can’t get past that first bitter sip.

  63. Jhianna

    Delurking, hi!
Um… Working non-mom, married, but I have a really big dog with about a hundred nicknames (BigWhiteDog, Snuffleupegas, YourHighness, etc)

  64. Emily

I started reading your blog when Amalah linked over because you said you had a MySpace and that you would help her umm ‘fix’ the fake Amy. Hi-larious!
I often send my sister links to your blog and she reads it and emails me back how ‘me’ everything you say is… and I think that’s a HUGE compliment because I get such a kick out of your writing!
The other night I woke up at about 4 am and couldn’t sleep. I had a really dry mouth so I googled “night time dry mouth” or something like that and the first handful of links that came back were about mouth cancer. I can’t remember if I cried or not but I sure as hell didn’t go back to sleep too easily! (and scheduled an appointment with my dentist first thing in the morning)
So about me? I worked for Starbucks for 3 years and will never drink another frappuccino in my life. Or any drinks with that caramel sauce. It’s hard to love something that’s been in a box in the back room for months that you have to warm up then squish out of it’s little plastic sac into a squeeze bottle. Just not my thing… No matter how sinfully de-lish it is.
My point? For your diet I suggest working at Starbucks and within a year you’ll be so over it!
And while I’m commenting… POST MORE because I miss it!

  65. MamaMiga

I have a blog crush on you, haha. I’m a SAHM of three kids and your blog helps me cope with being stuck at home with no friends or family nearby. Keep up the great work!

  66. Jen T

Hi, I’m Jen and I’ve been reading your blog for a while. Hmmm, one thing you should know about me? That’s hard…well I’ve struggled with weight too and I actually started ww the day you posted your recent weight and resolution to change. We can do this. WE CAN DO THIS.

  67. Annie

Offically delurking… finally. Don’t even know how I found your blog, but I just can’t tell you how much I look forward to reading about your life. YOU are the best!
I’m a married mom of 2 college aged boys. Been home this year battling breast cancer.. it sucks. Reading your blog has brought me MANY smiles on tough days..thanks, Sweetie!
    hugs

  68. Della

Hello! I’ve been reading your site for awhile now, but always feel like you have so many comments, mine would just repeat someone else’s, someone who could probably say it better! Also, I always think, ok, I’ll leave a comment when my blog has something worthy on it for Y to read! but it never does…… anyway, I just did a 101 things about me on mine, but here’s one thing about me….trying to think of something different than the things on my list…umm…okay, here’s one…I hate to be alone. Even if the other person is doing their own thing, I like having someone else in the house. I CANNOT take a shower if I am alone. (shiver) Will try to comment more often! Your blog is one of my favorites!

  69. Vicky

    Name: Vicky aka Procrastamom
Rarely comment here, but watch for you everyday on my Technorati favs. Love me some J.U.
Something you should know: I’m having a Delurking Week contest on my blog until midnight tonight. Stop over if you like.
Something else you should know: Your weight loss to date is phenomonal and you continue to impress me everyday with your honesty and your spunk. Keep going!

  70. lennie

Lurker here! I’ve been reading for a few months now, but not one to leave my 2 cents I just come for the entertainment. I forget how I even found this place, but I’m glad I did. I think yer effin’ hilarious! and you just happen to ROCK! Ok back to lurking. =^-^= len

  71. Snow

I think I de-lurked last year but just in case…
Something you should know about me. Hmmm…. I love to read a good biography. That is why I fell in love with blogs. I’ve been reading yours for at least a year, if not more now.
Love your blog (how freakin’ lame to say that) but I do.

  72. jen

    profile of a delurker:
20-something single chick originally from washington DC that now resides in austin TX. relatively new reader of your blog. what makes me a regular reader is your refreshing honesty and willingness to laugh at yourself. too many people are inCREDibly bad at that (including me sometimes). plus, your kids are freaking adorable. and the new puppy! kills me, seriously.
so, something about me. oh, the pressure to say something witty! hmm. well how about this: i’m totally jealous of your ability to do the worm. i think i could hold my own in an aerobic dance-off but you would so kick my ass if you busted out the worm.

  73. Navybride

Hmm….But I’m so great at lurking. I’m only coming out of hiding because I love the idea of delurking week for my own blog and, well, it would be totally hypocritical if I didn’t
About me: I live by the ocean, I am, on occassion, what we lovingly refer to as “geographically single” since husband travels alot, and we have no children but two ridiculously spoiled cats who actually run our household.

  74. Tay

I love this blog, and I am a shameful lurking whore. Sorry about that.
And I love Rachel Bilson, crazy a lot.

  75. Dee Dee

I’ve commented a few times and read you all the time. Semi-delurking to say that I love SCUBA diving but haven’t been in over 2 years 🙁

  76. Mae

I think I’ve commented before but if not consider me de-lurked!
One thing you should know about me…I started reading your blog in Phoenix, Arizona about three years ago and now I read it from Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.

  77. Allyson

I’ve only been reading you for a few days. I wish I could remember how I found you, but I’m utterly exhausted and slightly stupid today because our power went out last night and I spent hours and hours doing my assignment for Advanced Cost Accounting in the dark with my laptop, some seriously pathetic candles and a very dim flashlight.
So yeah, things to know about me? I’m a full-time student, part-time junior accountant, and I have a darling 6 year old and a wonderful husband, without whom I would definitely not be able to do both the school and work thing and still retain some sanity.
Oh, and I tried the link to sign into TypeKey to comment, but it said that “The site you’re trying to comment on has not signed up for this feature. Please inform the site owner.”

  78. Mrs. Flinger

Is it delurking if I never shut the hell up? 🙂 Something you should know about me? I’ve had sex three times since July. One of which made a kid. I’m a freakin’ after school special.

  79. rozie

hi! i’m emily’s sister – she’s the one who recommended that you work at starbucks to get over your frap-addiction and i’d have to agree with her. i worked at a place where we had lots of pizzas and nachos and things like that and that was my diet for a long long time. now? nachos are nearly dead to me. and it ruined pizza for a whlie too.
the other upside of working at the bux would be that until you get disgusted by the fraps you’ll get them on the cheap!

  80. Crystal

Love your blog…i hate when u don’t post as often as i think you should 😛 I really need to lose weight and i love to know that i’m not alone in this battle.

  81. rozie

oh… and the one thing you should know about me… (i don’t know if this is a should or a random fact, but here goes!)
i tend to rotate possessions through the trunk of my car, so every now and then i’ll remember that a certain pair of shoes or an unopened bag of chips are in there, bust them out and be ridiculously pleased with myself.
& i wore out the battery in my car remote in a year because of my OCD locking habit. (once is NOT enough)

  82. Kerry

I check for new posts every day but never comment.
As for something you don’t know about me…I sent my boyfriend a link to the post about painting with your husband, because I wanted to warn him that I completely identified, and also to say “Look! They’re married and she hates him sometimes! This means I don’t have to dump you and go looking for the mythical guy who will never drive me crazy!” I think he looked at me like I was nuts, but thought you were funny.
Oh, and I also once made $100 sewing boy scout patches onto uniforms for a Beck concert…just in case you wanted the something about me not to also be about you.

  83. jess

de-lurking. been reading so long i can’t remember how i found your blog. one thing you should know about me – your honesty inspires me.

  84. Ryan

What should you know about me? Hmmm . . . well, contrary to what my name says, I am indeed a girl!!! (Thanks Mom!) I love your blog. My favorite post, the one that still makes me laugh today, is the post where your thong underwear were “eaten” during dance aerobics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Keep up the great writing!

  85. MLE

    Hi Y!
About me: I regularly read at least 30 blogs and comment on about 5 of them. I don’t think I’ve ever commented on yours.

  86. Susan

I have been reading you for a while. My job is horribly boring, leaving lots of free time to surf the net. I love your writing and your silliness. It make me happy.
And like my job, I am pretty boring.

  87. heatherg

    Am I comment # 100?
    Are you still reading comments?
    I’m an oldie but goodie.
    2 things:
    I started a blog in 2007.
My family comes first and foremost in my life.
Even when my husbands being a dick.

  88. demondoll

Your “remember me?” button makes mock at me everytime…
As always, you are fabulous. I struggle with my weight, and you ispire me to keep trying, or at least laugh while going for it!

  89. Summer

I have been reading your blog for several years. I will give you a hint about who I am. Look in your myspace friends list and match my name. 😉

  90. hed

Not really de-lurking… but sort of, because well, I’m usually NAK these days. Something you should know about me? Hmmm… I’m also a pie petter!
    -H

  91. susan

Hi, Y, I am susan and I am a lurker (hi, susan) 🙂
something about me is that i made a garden gnome (at one of the do it yourself pottery places) in lincoln, nebraska and i live in Maryland…hehehe…on a random road trip to meet with my friend who lives in minnesota.

  92. flybunny

I think I have commented maybe once but one thing you should know about me is that I am expecting my third in June and my daughters will be 10 and 8 1/2 when the baby gets here – my own very unexpected joy, if you will. I read you so that I know that it will all work out.

  93. Jennifer

My name is Jennifer.. I’ve commented before.. and You’re on my myspace.. I found you through Put Down the Donut… Love your blog.. wish we could “hang” and drink of the arbor mist together :o)

  94. Kelly

I admit it – I read and don’t comment, but there have been lots of times where I felt like I wanted to. I guess that doesn’t really count though Ü
Anyway, I love reading your blog. Mostly because you’re funny, but also because I am going through a lot of the same things with weight and self-worth. Its amazingly helpful to read the feelings of people out there who are like me. Sort of like free therapy …
Nothing too interesting to tell .. I linked to my MySpace page if you wanted to check that out. However, a mini factoid is that I once lived in Africa for a few months. It was one of the best things I’ve ever done.

  95. Michelle

See? SEE? This is why I don’t usually leave comments, even though I read e.v.e.r.y.d.a.y. You have like a bajillion comments and someone has already said what I would have said anyway, unless of course you need some support and encouragment and then I’ll come out of my shell.
Anywho…I love ya, your photos and your sense of humor.

  96. ginger

I’ve read since you were pregnant with Gabby, and I’ve commented a few times. We’re also myspace buddies!
um… one thing about me…. I like big butts and I cannot lie… you other brothers can’t deny….
    oh, wait.
No really. A real fact: I’m missing 5 keys off my laptop because of my psychotic dog’s fingernails.

  97. Tammy

I am de-lurking. I’ve commented before, but it was so long ago it might have been in a different life.
    Something to know about me…..
I love being an English teacher, but I rarely read anything other than “beach novels” in my free time.

  98. Kristie

Well, this isn’t my first time de-lurking as I’ve left you the occasional message in the past, but not nearly as often as I should.
One thing about me: I have been known to hide in the panty, eating chocolate fudge straight out of the jar, and pretending I couldn’t hear my kids calling for me.
No, I have no idea why I have a weight problem, why do you ask??? 🙂

  99. Sarah

Delurking to say I love your writing and I’ve been reading for at least a couple months.
And I wish I had the guts to take the dance classes at the gym, but I have to stick to the muscle classes as I have no rhythm at all.

  100. ron

Hey y, been reading for awhile. I don’t comment because, well because I’m a guy. It would be like admitting I read Star magazine. I did e-mail once using a different address. You did not respond by the way, but that’s ok. I still think your funny and hot!!!!

  101. Corinne

    De-lurking.

This is probably creepy, but sometimes I wish I’d randomly run into you in public so I could actually meet you in real life. Because I bet you’re hella fun.

    But I live in Pasadena.

Not so creepy – I’m halfway to a Master’s in Library Science.

  102. Sonja

Hi. My name is Sonja, and I am a lurker.
I like to eat cold pizza for breakfast. So much so that I defend my dinner pizza leftover WITH MY LIFE (well, very nearly, anyways).

  103. Alicia

I have been reading your blog since your daughter was about six months old. I love your writing and you have me laughing aloud on a regular basis.
One thing about me….I live in Kentucky.

  104. Denise

Hmmm, one thing that you’d like to know about me?
Despite the fact that I have never taken a dance class nor can I dance like a hip hop junkie, I still plan to be one of Britney Spears backup dancers one day.

  105. Robin

Y, you have my admiration always! You’re a true inspiration by your willingness to share your real thoughts and feelings. You have a way of expressing many things we can identify with in our own lives. Your stories sometimes make me cry, but more often your humor makes me laugh from the “gut.” Thanks for being you and sharing your life with us.
Something about me: I have a husband, 4 kids, 2 dogs, a full-time job, am a cancer survivor and am very thankful for each new day of life!!

  106. Lindsey

De-Lurking just to say hello and tell you I enjoy your blog very much.
One thing about me, although not interesting, I hate coffee and anything coffee related, except the smell.
I wish my hubby was a coffee drinker so I could wake up to that smell everyday.

  107. Karly

    Hi, de-lurking for ya.
Something you should know about me…yesterday morning when I was in the shower I started soaping my back and, um, butt, and there was this big sticky piece of black electrical tape stuck to my butt. I have no idea how it got there.

  108. Karen

Wow, there sure are a lot of delurkers! Yours is the first blog I ever read (can’t remember how I found it exactly) and I have been hooked ever since. I think you are a riot!

  109. Arianne

I’ve been reading you for years…I think I commented a little at first, then I had my second child. Now, the only time I’ve commented was for your work out songs request.
My secret…I have a political blog, I don’t tell anyone I know that I write it, and it gets a lot of traffic. I’ll never tell!

  110. Lil Liberal

I’m not a lurker- long-time reader, occasional commenter in the past under a different moniker. 🙂 But since I haven’t commented in a long time, I guess that does make me a lurker!
I’m 26, live in NYC, and just had a son. My first child. I’m an evil elitist east-coast liberal from Massachusetts. 😉
Love your blog, especially the pictures of your kids. You’ve got a natural talent as a photographer-of-children. 🙂

  111. Denise

So that’s why my last comment never posted: the bogus email addy. Sorry, I just do that out of habit.
I don’t know if I really qualify as a lurker because I think I’ve commented before, but close enough.
One thing you should know about me is that I’m a conservative Christian, and I like your blog because it is honest and at times vulnerable and always amusing. Though sometimes the f-bombs make me cringe LOL!
    God bless you, Y!

  112. Norma

Hi! Long time luker, first time poster!
I read an embarrassing amount of celebrity news! Happy New Year.

  113. Kristy

Hi. I read your blog several times a week. Hmmm..what should you know about me? I am an overworked, overweight mother of three.

  114. Shannon

I think I have commented before but not sure.. Ummm, interesting? I found out I have a little higher cholesterol then I should so I started walking. I walked 6 miles between yesterday and today!!

  115. stacey

i enjoy your blog soooooo much! i’ve been reading for about 6 months. i just found out i’m pregnant with my 3rd (surprise) baby, and i had carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand today which explains my lack of caps 🙂

  116. elismsue

Am I now a de-lurker?? Sounds so mysterious.
Sometimes I copy, paste and forward parts of blogs I read. I always give credit for their words to them. There is some great advice out there. I have learned a lot as a “lurker”

  117. Dawn-L

De-lurking… I read your blog almost everyday… you know.. when I’m at work… 🙂 One thing you should know about me?? I don’t like cake.

  118. Valeta

Hi, I have been reading your blog for a few months. I do not comment because I have nothing funny/interesting to say. I love your sense of humor.

  119. Brandi

I’m not delurking as I read and comment nearly everyday. I just couldn’t resist an opportunity to read your latest post. Love ya, Y.

  120. Alison

I’m reading via bloglines. Found you during this year’s blogher blog stroll. About me? You should know that I hate my kitchen cabinets too.

  121. Andrea

I have been reading you for a few months now and I made 1 comment.
    about me?
hum. I’m from Quebec, in Canada, I’m 21 y.o, and I have a 3 months sock-killer kitten sleeping on my shoulder at this precise moment.

  122. Kerri

De-lurker here, been reading you for over a year.
One thing: I moved to NH from CA 6 months ago and I’m freezing my ass off!!

  123. Jerri Ann

DE-lurker…sometimes I do comment but at 151 comments on this one entry…I doubt you’ll ever even notice me.
One thing about me: I count things, the bumps in the road, fingers, toes, lights, stop signs…on and on and on

  124. Samantha

Hi from Maryland! One thing you should know about me is that I am a recovering chocoholic 😉
You are one funny lady Y, love your site!

  125. sally

I check you out everyday to see if you have posted. You make me snort. In a ha ha way. Not in a sinus infection way.
About me? My house looks like it was ransacked by burglars.

  126. Sarah

    Delurking here.
    Except… I may have commented once before…
Anyway, the thing you should know is that I laugh so hard when I read your blog that my husband thinks… well I don’t know what he thinks, but he gives me the funniest looks. I love reading your blog because you don’t take yourself so seriously as many other blogs that I surf through (and don’t come back to). You don’t act like you’ve got your life perfectly figured out (because Lord knows that the people who do act like that are LIARS) and you make me feel normal 🙂

  127. Robin

I’ve been lurking since last spring….I also have an unexpected third child (girl) 8 &9 years after kid no 1 & 2….she is 13 now! I LOVE your blog, read it all the time…only visit about 5 a day (a year ago i didn’t even KNOW what a blog is! Your weight loss struggles have inspired me to start working out and keep me motivated….and music…..OMG! I used your LIST and have some awesome music to work out to!

  128. jesseeezmom

I have LOVED your blog for a long time and posted too. I wish I was as coordinated as you and had “THE WORM’ skills..but I live vicariously through you and your skillz. I have absolutely no coordination whatsoever-so in my mind I “aerobicly dance” the elyptical, you know spinning and bouncing to the beat of the mp3 music.

  129. Tamara

I have commented once, maybe twice. I love that your sense of humor and how down to earth you seem. Two (semi) interesting things about me: I live in Texas and have a 6 month old baby boy.

  130. Lori

Hi Y! I feel like I can say that because I know you so well, you just don’t know me. Thanks for all the laughs! Me?…I’m just a simple girl, well, 44 year old girl.

  131. Naomi

I’ve commented before, actually..I sent you an email, so technically I’m not a lurker anymore!
Oh well. Lets see…I live in Canada and I just got married!

  132. jessica

    delurking.
sent my husband a picture of your husband with the bag of peas….trying to make him see that others can be brave too. Weight is a constant battle. I can’t throw out my scale because I have learned there is no end weight for me. As an aside, I am loving the book YOU on a diet. A different way to look at food.

  133. Paige

I’ve been a regular reader for about a year. I got your website off the list on crazyus.com. What ever happened to Beth?
    I love your stories, I have a daughter about Gabby’s age. I have a blog at paigerun.blogspot.com.
    Keep it up girl!

  134. Karen

Happy delurking week! One interesting thing…I love ice cream and Disney movies. And eating ice cream during Disney movies. Yay!

  135. SilliGirl

I’ll de-lurk for ya…I’ve been reading for a long time (a year-ish?), and I can’t remember if I’ve ever commented before. I like your blog because it’s funny, and I got sucked in because of your aerobic dancing stories. So please go to every class they offer, even if it’s only twice a week, and work your ass off so we can have more dance-off stories. Those are my favorite.

  136. Michelle

I check this daily, actually more than once a day even, to see if there’s something new….And I think it’s because you are just like the people I was friends with in college. The friends I wish I could spend more time with but we now live too far apart from each other and have kids friends. And in my suburban momhood in Minnesota, it’s like the things you write about are things I’m thinking, but can’t say to the stepfords in my neighborhood. Love reading you because you sound like I used to sound! And I miss that say whatever the eff comes to mind life I once had! And do I have enough Ands in this post.

  137. Nina

I’m not really delurking as i comment from time to time, but anyway…
My 1.22 year old is secretly potty trained. he started daycare with his older brother 3 days ago- and his teacher told me he went on the potty, wiped himself and washed his hands.
now, he’s NEVER gone on the potty for me. Not even once.

  138. SC

I think I delurked last year, but I’m not sure. I read you every single day, which I’m sure you can tell if you take a look at my I.P. :-).
I just started a teeny, weeny blog over at Vox back in August, but there are no privacy controls, so I’m laying off a bit until I can buy a domain.
Anyway, I love reading you, and I just wanted to delurk and say hello!
    SC

  139. Sarah

Hello, delurking to say I love your site. I’m from Australia, have a daughter about 2 months younger than yours and I’m petrified of chickens and ducks!

  140. Bethany

I have commented before so I’m not a total lurker.
I love your blog. You were the very first commenter I ever had on my Blogger blog (Thanks five months later).

  141. Mrs. Diaz

I began reading your blog at about the time Gabby turned one, I’ve commented once or twice before but always felt like i wasn’t cool enough to voice my opinion… so I quietly admire you.. for your strength as a mother, a woman and above all your ability to smile at it all.
I am 31y.o., a SAHM of a 15 y.o daughter, 13 y.o son, 6 year old son and a my darling 2 year old princess. I often cry at night when i am reminded that I can’t have anymore kids… also I’ve lost FIFTY pounds in the last year.
God bless you, Y. and Thanks…… now back to my little corner.

  142. Jen

I think I may have commented once or twice before, but I’ll delurk today. Your blog is one I read often, but I’m a terrible commenter, so don’t take it personally.
Something you should know about me? I’m a teacher in Milwaukee.

  143. Jordan

found your site a few months ago through the Sarcastic Journalist and love your sass. Thanks for keeping me laughing.
Something about me: I love the internet, but have no clue how to use it, and there are more animals in my house than people.

  144. E :)

I’m also not really delurking, since I’ve commented before. I love your blog.
Something you should know about me? I love animals. And children. And am a sucker for anything cute.

  145. beth

ive been reading your blog for quite awhile now. never seen you come by you used to back in the day about 4 3 years ago when i was preggo with my daughter:) umm i am moving! im getting a shih tzu! and hugs lol

  146. sophie

I’m a once in a while commenter, very longtime reader from the old defunct site which I read even before I had a blog of my own.
I’m a pain in the ass and wonder why the hell my husband married me. I turned down a puppy who needs a home today because he might have divorced me if I got another animal for Him to take care of (kidding about the divorce part, but it really wouldn’t have gone over well.)

  147. Mamacita

Sometimes I lurk, sometimes I come on in and sit on your couch.
I’m older than any two of you put together, and very fat. But then you already knew that.
Okay, something new then: I was engaged three times before I was married and I kept the rings.

  148. Erin

I think I’ve commented once or twice, but have been reading for a couple of years now. Does that make me a lurker or a secret stalker?
You should know that I once shaved my eyebrows, well, the part between my eyes. I walked around for a month with only half-brows, but damn did I look cool in the meantime! 🙂

  149. goodthingscomin

I’ve commented once or twice, but I’ve been reading this blog for much longer than my lack of comments might suggest. I just love it.
One thing you should know about me? Like a deep and dirty secret? Ok, let’s see. Years ago when I was in high school I used to sneak out of class (Mission Impossible-style) and leave school to get myself and a few other classmates (and sometimes the teacher) Burger King. Those were the days where this girl could eat anything anytime and not gain an ounce. A number of years, many hormones and a child later that doesn’t hold true. My kid is 5 and I’m still trying to lose the last 40 pounds I gained during pregnancy.

  150. Becki

I am a single mother of two working full time. My big sister told me about your page and I freely admit to reading but never posting. You are hilarious and I need that after working all day and momming all night. I have great stories to tell but have never started a blog, maybe I should. I have been called “weird” since the 3rd grade and people say I am funny too. I make fun of myself and my two young sons because it makes me feel better to make people laugh about my life so I don’t feel so bad about it. 🙂 Becki

  151. Allknowingjen

Hi, longtime lurker, first time commenter…
No, actually I think I might have left one short little comment a while back, but I can’t remember. I’m a WAHM and I have been reading for about a year now and I think you are so truthful and hilarious. Also, I would love to find an fun dance class like the one you go to. No luck yet though.

  152. Jenn

Happy De-Lurker Week! I may have posted a comment before…but normally I am so afraid of sounding like an idiot..so I keep quiet.
Hhhmm, something to tell about myself…
For starters I read you daily and love doing it. I am a SAHM of 3 foster children (a 3 year old girl and a set of 5 month old girls) we are hoping to adopt since we are unable to have any of our own.
    Keep up the good work!

  153. Gin

    Lurker here! *waves*
I have been reading your blog for about a year. I’m not really sure how I found it but I am so glad that I did. Like all of the other people before me, please know that you are a inspiration.

I am a 27 yr old working married mom to an almost 3 year old boy that is terrified to poop on the potty. I totally have working mom guilt due to us being out of the house for 11 hours each week day (He has a WONDERFUL SITTER). I spend the first 1/2 hour each morning at work, drinking my coffee (usually Starbucks) and reading blogs. psst. please don’t tell me boss..

obscure factoid about me.. I get a giggle everytime I get an interoffice envelope with .. to BM from TP (Initials of 2 girls at work) and I usually think that you would get a little giggle as well.

  154. MsShad

I’ve commented before, and I hate you cause you have 2 gazillion more readers than I do.
    That is all. Bitch.
Oh wait, I’m losing weight too. Curves is where I’m at every day at 11am.

  155. Katie

Hi- just wanted to say, love reading- you are hillarious and take great photos!
One thing about me- I am running a half marathon on Sunday!

  156. Angela

Hi,delurking from Jackson MS.I’ve been reading since you were pregnant with Gabby-I believe I found you through Mellie’s old site.I,like everyone else, continue to read you because of your funny,honest,true-to-life,emotional( sometimes hormonal)writing. And your beautiful family photos are always worth checking out even if you haven’t updated.I’m 51,retired this past April and the best part about that is taking a nap whenever the mood strikes me.

  157. nancy

    Hello,
I rarely (almost never) comment, but I read a lot of blogs. I rarely (almost never) update my own pathetic excuse for a blog. I have no kids. I moved to California this summer and was secretly dying to email you and ask you questions about living here.
    Nancy

  158. Stacy

I’ve been reading for the past year, or two, time flies when you’re raising a three year old. That’s one thing you should know about me. The other is I’m raising him in Vegas.

  159. Valette

I’ve been reading for… um… yes. A while. I don’t comment here, but it’s not you, baby! It’s me! I actually lurk just about everywhere I go.
I live in Alaska, and have recently discovered I’m just like one of those parents whose kid completely freaks out on and then is perfectly sane once I walk away, only I don’t have any kids: I have a dog.

  160. jadine

I’m Jadine, I think I found you via Amalah, and one of my favorite things is when you insert the “quotation mark” photo into your posts. Wait, that’s about you, mainly. About me….sweet baby Jesus, I’m boring.

  161. katrina

I’m another extremely rare commenter, that just like to read. But don’t take it personally, I hardly ever comment on anybody’s blogs – even my close friends’.
I love your photography. And especially admire the pictures you took of yourself a while ago with the measuring tape and scale. That’s art.
Also, and unrelated, I’m in love.

  162. Amy

I’ve commented here once before…I think…my memory is almost as good as my commenting. (Wait, did that make any sense?) Okay. So hello, I really enjoy reading your blog. Your writing style is entertaining without being insincere.
Something about me…hm…I’m one of those people who puts sweaters on dogs. Well, not all dogs, just my dog. And I recently started making them instead of buying them for 2 reasons: 1) it makes no sense to spend as much on a sweater for a dog as I do for myself, and 2) winter break is a wonderful time to do things totally unrelated to the real world. 🙂

  163. cynthea

I was going to read all the comments before posting, but forget that.
BOO! I’ve been reading you for over a year or so. I like you, you’re nice, funny and honest.
As for me? I have naturally wavy, THICK-ASS hair that’s frizzy and gross and I hate it, but people compliment seriously all the time these days. Weird.

  164. DebbieS

Not really de-lurking since I’ve commented before. But I had to say, you are one funny woman. You need to do some standup!
One thing about me…I still think of myself as flat-chested sometimes until I see my reflection. (38DDD) I’m always stunned when I catch someone staring!

  165. DJ

Whew, that was a heck of a long way to the bottom of all these comments. 🙂 I’m exhausted.
I, too, am a regular reader but rare commenter. I am a HUGE fan of your photography!

  166. julianna

Hey! Not delurking, but adding to the site-commentor tally.
One thing, hmmm. I’m in Jordan right now? Making up for 6 months of no sex? And tomorrow is my last day? And I want to cry?? AND YET I AM HERE ON YOUR BLAWG?!

  167. Nanette

I am a lurker ;)….I found you through RSM’s blogroll…I love that you seem so real, and you are so funny too and I love your pictures!
One thing about me: I need to lose at least 50 lbs 🙁

  168. kate

I have 786 reasons to enjoy your blog, but enough about you. Let’s talk about me:
My family doesn’t know this, but my cousin (and close friend, though I’m reconsidering that designation) has, in the past year, became a gay porn star (he was already gay, but not a porn star, just to be clear) and has had mcuh success. Like a lot. But I’m pissed– not because he’s a porn star or gay or crazy, even. Here’s what makes me so hostile and petty and rude and selfish: he didn’t bring a gift to my wedding this past summer. Hello?! He’s a PORN STAR!? Where were the wads of cash? Or the trips? Or even just some nice lube for the honeymoon? Excuse my lewdness, but it’s a thing about me and if anyone’s got a tip about how to weasel a gift out of him, let me know…
p.s. sorry to attempt to make this an advice column.

  169. Sarah

I started doing this last night, but accidentally went to bed instead of finishing it. My random fact about me is that your comments box doesn’t like my URL because I’m from good ol’ Blighty, but still I come back! The stories of aerobic dancing are brilliant.

  170. Carrie

So that comment from Kate above? I died. I totally think she should confront the GPSC (Gay Porn Star Cousin, for the folks at home) and MAKE him give her some lube. It’s only a once-in-a-lifetime thing, a honeymoon, right? HAHAHA!

So the one thing you should know about me? I’m pretty sure I’m a 19 year old boy trapped in a 25 year old woman’s body. I think about teh sex0rz about 85% of the time (the rest of the time, I’m an intellectual, of course), I’m always up for a good fart joke, and I’m pretty sure my favorite words are rad, awesome, dude and fuck. All of which I use as verbs, adjectives, and proper nouns. Seriously. Don’t you totally want to be my friend, now??

  171. kim

well, you know me. i don’t comment every time i stop by but we actually AIMed before. you’re my ww-hero and i wish i was as disciplined as you about “loosing it”. my LDR with an american is finally over after more than 4 years and he’s back here in germany with me. which is great. but also tough. i love your writing and your hair. that’s it. maybe you stop by my site some time? 🙂

  172. silverblue

I”m delurking… and I’ve never previously delurked to comment on any of the blogs I read, but you inspired me with your witty commentary. As always.
Anyway, I’m Mel and I live in Adelaide, South Australia.
One thing about me? We’re in the middle of a huge drought here (on MAJOR water restrictions across most of Oz), and I still take 20 minute showers. I feel guilty, but I swear, I can’t stop myself! I have a lot of hair to wash!
Is it sad that this fact was the first one that came to mind? I’ll come up with better ones the next time. Promise.

  173. Adele

    Hi Y!
Delurking to say I love your blog, been reading for ages but never comment, too shy 🙂
One thing about me, i’m on month 18 of trying to conceive my first baby (:

  174. Bunny

Hello! I love reading what you have to say. You have a unique wit and perspective on life. I have missed the more frequent updates, but, hey, I know things get busy. Love you!

  175. baseballmom

Delurking! Guilty as charged! I just like to read and laugh! Not my thing to comment often. I read the blogs (yes, I confess, there are others! Does that make me a cheater?) almost daily. Yours I can relate to with my son having the asthma and other issues like your daughter. He is 12 now and we are finally getting rid of the nebulizer! He even went through a bout of bronchitis last month and did NOT have an asthma attack! Finally outgrowing it! Go him!! Keep your chin up and it will all work out!

  176. Angelena

    Hey Y!
I read you everyday and wanted to say hey! I have about 30 blogs that I read regularly and most I don’t comment on……. don’t know why…lol. Maybe its the 2 year old tugging at my left leg and the 3 year old tugging at my right. Or it could be the 8 year old asking me to play PS2 with him eleventy billion times a day…. idk….lol.
hahahaha…. hey I think I just told you about me 😉
Divorced mom of 3….. loving the funnies you post. Love your style!
    Take care,
    Angelena

  177. Beth

    Hi Y,
I’ve posted here once or twice, but most lurk. I found you through Joelle and I found her through Put Down the Donut. I think you are both hilarious real women I would love to be friends with…. but alas, I live in Ontario Canada and you live in Sunny California.
Ironically my husband’s uncle lives in San Pedro and we came out for a visit last April. I didn’t have the nerve to contact you or Joelle asking to meet but I pondered the idea of getting together since hubby and I drove through the coastline and went to San Fran too. Maybe we’ll come down another t ime.
Anyway, I wanted to say that I read your blog everyday. You constantly inspire me to keep trying as you keep trying to battle the weight. Also I love hearing and seeing about your kids. We’re currently trying… but so far, no luck. Seeing how you love and live with your kiddies makes me think I’d be a simular mom. Cross your fingers for me. I’m ready.
Keep on Keepin’ on! We love to read you!!!

Omaha, NE – I found your site at a friend of mine’s site about a year ago and have been reading your site about every day. I like the humor and honesty. Your children are drop dead beautiful and you have a great sense of humor! Keep writing!!

  179. Shelly

I have been reading your blog for about a year and I find your writing to be hilarious! You make me want to be a better and more interesting writer!

  180. Katie

I have been reading for a few months (as well as some of the archives). I think you are hilarious. You sound like a really fun person to be around. I also struggle with poor body image, so I can identify with that, and I admire your attempts to feel better about yourself.

  181. Brenda

I have read your blog for a long time, yet have only commented a few times. I love what you have to say!!
I am a SAHM of 4 kiddos, 2 of each… so I love to see what others have to say about their kiddos too!

  182. Denise

Hiya! Just flying by to say that you should know that you and I share the same 9-9-71 birthday. I’m the one who emailed you last year to point this out right afterward. So…I’m recycling that fact!

  183. kate

    hi,
i have kids/house shame/weight struggles so i appreciate your humour and outlook at our common life issues…this paragraph is so lame…but wanted to write something to tell you how much i appreciate your writing!
    thanks

  184. kimberly

Hi! OK, the thing you should know about me is I posted pictures of myself on my weight-loss blog because you’re brave enough to do it so I figured I could too. 🙂

  185. blairzoo

I love reading your blog and have been for a long time. I, too, struggle with body image issues, eating disorders, and beating myself up for all failures. It’s so good to see someone else brave enough to write about her journey with all that. Thanks!
Oh, and some of your posts are the funniest things I’ve ever read. Seriously.

  186. Earthami

Let’s see I started reading your blog a few months ago, by way to Notes from the Trenches. You are funny and I appreciate it.
I’m nearly 40 and have a 4 yo boy, more and more likely to be my only.

  187. Shannon

Hey Y! I’m a mom of two teenage daughters – I have a blog but I’ve been totally slacking off on posting to it. I read your blog every time it’s updated and you – yes YOU are the reason I’ve been taking Latin Aerobics at my health club 🙂 Okay the instructor too – he has a cute butt.

  188. Nicole

Hey Y! I’ve been reading your blog for as long as I can remember. You always give me a chuckle, even when I have had the worst of days. I feel akin to you because I have the same struggle with my weight. I guess that was a few things that you didn’t know. 🙂

  189. Marcie

    Hi,
I’m not really a lucker – just too lazy to post! I think you’re hilarious.
I live in the East Coast of Canada – and I’m married to a lobster fishermen, we live on the water. I’m living the typical sterotype around here!

  190. Suzanne

Wow, I am really at the bottom of the pile here, but I’ll say hi anyway. *waving* What you should know about me is: tomorrow is my birthday. 38. Yay.

  191. emilie

    you’re fucking awesome & funny.
    one thing about me?
when i was 5, i slipped and fell on my fake “princess” hair & broke my leg in 2 places.

  192. Dawn

I love reading and ever comment cause I read whilst I am at work. I know, I’m a bad girl.
Just can’t stop reading, love your blog!

  193. Nay

I have been reading your blog for a while now. Your kids are adorable and you are just too funny. I love to read your blog but I am always too shy to leave comments. For some reason I think I am just not witty enough. Great job on your blog though!

  194. Kell

I lurk here every day but never comment.
One thing about me…hmmm…I’m 31 and I’m currently sporting pink streaks in my hair and they are permanent and not the kind that washes out.

  195. Dee

Holy crap, that’s alot o’ readers! I’m Dee. I’ve commented before, but not often lately. I found you through Miss Melly.
You make work easier. Laughing from reading your blog makes the day go by more quickly. THANK YOU for that!

  196. C.

Damn girl, you have a lot of lurkers!
Ok, my one thing… (not that you SHOULD know it) I think apple butter from Indiana is better than any other kind you can get. And don’t even try to sell me on those damn Amish from Pennslyvania.

  197. Therese

    I’m delurking just to say..
    I shouldn’t do this because
    I’m supposed to be working!
OK, now you know. I’m a really bad poet. Love your blog.

  198. Missy

Delurking to say I love your blog.
One thing about me: I’ve gone to the gym 4 out of the last 5 days and you are my inspiration.
    Thanks!

  199. Pacer

Hi, I’m delurking. I haven’t read the 251 other comments so hopefully the thing I’m about to tell you about myself hasn’t already been beat to death: I put hot sauce on everything and I almost never comment on blogs.

  200. Tammy

Technically, not a lurker, as I have commented a few times in the past.
Something about me: I get a little bent when the bloggers I read don’t post as often as they normally do. Also … paranoid that something might have happened. Like, maybe those ducks tracked you down when you weren’t posting, and you were so traumatized you couldn’t post. I know … I’m a freak!

  201. Maureen

Hi Y! I have been reading your site for quite some time, and love it. You crack me up. I think if you and RSM lived in Indiana, we may possibly get into alot of trouble.
well, just like you I have some issues to deal with. I admire you for putting it all out there.
since you asked…..Im 35, a mother of 2, and a part time nurse. I also really enjoy my cocktails!
Well, off to starbucks. Have a great day!
    Maureen
p.s. Feel free to email me anytime

  202. Michele

I started to comment yesterday but then I was distracted and never got back to finishing. This seems to happen a lot … which makes me a bit of a lurker. Oops!
I’ve been reading your blog since you were over there *points somewhere off in the distance* and haven’t been able to leave ever since. You’re hilarious and now whenever I hear the name Jay Mohr I immediately think of you.
Something about me …. I often feel invisible in my fat body. Hrm

  203. Melina

Hi I’ve commented before and read you everyday. Love your site and can relate to a lot of what you write especially the weight issues. You look great BTW!!!!
The one thing you should know about me, well not that it’s a big deal but today is my birthday. Woo hoo!

  204. Lisa/Kaiasmom

I rarely comment. I’m an incredibly shy person but I love your blog. I am a sahm mom to two kids. Kaia 3 and Cole 1. I’m 23 and live in Ohio. Something about myself: My pet peeve is people who think I’m just a “welfare mom” because I’m so young. But my husband and I planned our kids and make too much for welfare. I am so sick of the drive by parenting comments!

  205. Ro

Y – Is it not enough that I come here and READ the blog, I have to actually use some brain skills (lacking in that dept. ofcorse thanks to children!!!!!!!!!!) too?! Geez, your a pest. Teehee! *Muah!*

  206. Kris

I have been reading you for atleast 2 years…enjoy reading your blog. I am a mom of 3 also, ages 14, 13, and 11 (2boys and a girl).

  207. christina

Been reading your blog for years but haven’t visited in a while.
You make me laugh. In a a good way.
One thing about me? I’m a Canadian living in Europe and I despise it.

  208. phianlilsmom

I just started reading you a few weeks ago – you are hilarious and an inspiration with the whole “not getting two sides of special sauce” thing. I’m a 31 year old mother of two, and though I now live in the great northwest, I grew up in San Diego. You remond me of one of my best friends in junior high, and I love you for it!
Thanks for the laughs – never stop!

  209. Netty

Only leave comments when I have something to say, but have been reading you about a year I think?
Something you should know….I’m working on the weight thing too, just hang in there.

  210. Kyla

Wowzer, Y! You have quite a few lurkers !! I’m not a lurker, but I felt the need to comment on the MASSIVE quantities of lurkers! They are like termites! *lol*
And a random fact about me (even though I’m not a lurker). I got married at 17…by choice. 🙂

  211. Jess in Mi

I too have commented before, but I must say I LOVE YOUR BLOG!!!! I bet you are super fun to hang out with and I wish I was closer so I could go out with you and drink!!! Oh and our kids could have playdates too lol My 3 year old, Chase LOVES G-unit!!!!

  212. Millie

Yet another lurker! I have been reading your blog for about a year now and really enjoy it. You are a blast! I have two girls, 14 and 10 yo and today is my *40th* birthday!

  213. Crystal

    Love your Blog!!
I love hearing of your aerobic dancing episodes.
One thing you dont know about me? I am half latino but have blond hair and green eyes!!
    Keep Dancing!!

  214. misty

    Hello…Delurking here. Love your blog!
You should know….I am terrified of driving on the freeway, I go all over town without ever getting on it. Drives my hubby craaaazy. I have no idea why you should know that, only think I could think of. Happy Delurking week.

  215. Deanna

Delurking-I found you only a few weeks ago and have been hooked ever since. You are like crack, girl!! I haven’t commented yet because I haven’t stopped laughing long enough to leave a comment.
Something about me-I am 29 w/ 2 beautiful baby girls. Madi is 2 1/2 yrs old and Kaia is 9 months old.
I can’t believe that I am admitting this, but I stumbled upon your blog when I goggled “deformed belly button”. LOL. How sad is that? Poor me…my belly button (and belly for that matter) never returned to it’s pre-pregnancy state.
You inspire me to laugh more and not take myself so seriously. Thanks. Keep on keepin’ on. YOU ROCK!!

  216. Kimberly

    De-Lurking ( I think)
I have been reading your blog for well over a year and always get a great laugh out of the stories you share!
Something about me: I spent the last year in Europe and can’t wait to come back to the States!=)

  217. Cate

Delurking at your request. You have the blog I wish I had but I made the mistake of starting mine just to keep family up to date with my child’s life. Alas, I can do no bitching about inlaws, talking about sex or bodily functions, and primarily no swearing. Oh, and just found out yesterday that I’m having a girl. I completely get what Joy Unexpected means.

  218. Nicole

I’ve commented before, but why not again? Hi there! I’m #270-something and it’s unlikely you’ll even notice me down here. That’s too bad, because the thing that you should know about me is that I’m brilliant. 😉

  219. LizzyBee

Delurking-I have been reading your site for a few weeks now.
Something about me: I have a 14-month old son who was born 10 weeks early at 2lbs. 12 oz.
Love reading your site, you are an excellent writer.

  220. Kait

I’m not a total lurker, I comment occasionally.
One thing you should know about me? Hmmm… I read a lot of books, and have nearly 100 on my shelves that are just waiting to be explored!
Is it just me, or does lurker sound like that kind of zit that you have under the surface that just won’t go away and won’t come up so you can pop it and be done with it?

  221. Keli

I’m a daily lurker, who pretty much never comments. I’ve been reading your blog for years now… I love reading your posts and relate to you in so many ways…
I’m from Alberta, Canada… Where it’s SOOO cold right now…
    Have a great day!

  222. Vex

    Delurking as instructed…
I envy your considerable literary, humourblogmanship skills. Out of the hundreds of blogs I subscribe to, yours consistently is one of the first I go to when opening Bloglines. It feels good to be outted. I feel vaguely guilty, sometimes, reading all those blogs about people’s families, and knowing that I know so much about them and they know so little about me.
I am one of those people that makes up new words, but let’s not make that my essential self-fact. One time, in Florida, I almost got eaten by a shark!

  223. Audrey

I started reading a few weeks ago and am finally de-lurking.
Something about me? I’m terrible at trying to come up with a good response to “tell me something I should know about you.”

  224. Amber

HOLY CRAP Y, you sure got alot of comments this time.
Well its me, Amber & I’ve been reading for over two yrs! LOL 🙂 Um, im from MD & am a stay at home mom to 3 boys! 🙂

  225. Tina

I am a lurker, I admit it . . . I linked to your site from another friends site and after reading your blog a few times I saved it in my favorites. I love reading about your trials and tribulations because it reminds me that I am not alone. Feel free to check out my site to get a glimpse into my life. I don’t blog yet but it is a new year.

  226. Sarah

I love reading your site among others: Every. Freaking. Day. It gives me inspiration for my own life, weight, relationships and one day motherhood. It’s like my own private club where I get to catch up with everyone, and hear all the good, bad and everthing in between.
So here I am on the other of your computer and I am saying – You go girl!
    Thanks for writing.
    -Sarah

  227. Kris

I’ve been lurking for a while now. You make me laugh out loud. One thing you should know about me is that I struggle with weight constantly, and 2 years ago lost 50 pounds using the pop tart diet. not very healthy, but it did the job. i’ve gained 10 lbs back and having trouble getting rid of it.

  228. nicole

I have been reading you for a long while. Sometimes you crack me up. Sometimes you make me sad. I feel a kinship with you because my 3rd child is also a joy unexpected. She is how dh and I found out that about 1% of all vasectomies fail. His dr. says that he will redo dh for free (dh wants to know if he will pay for our little miracle baby to go to college). I know that there may be accidental parents, but there are no accidental children. I call my sweet baby girl what I never knew that I always wanted. I’ll bet you can relate to that.

  229. Meegan

Hi, Y. I’ve commented before but it’s been a while. I have a 4 month old daughter and I’m crazy about her. More so when she’s not screaming at the top of her lungs because I’m trying to – gasp! – put her to sleep. Also, really like your post about “thinking like a thin person”. I have 20 lbs of baby weight to drop and while I’ve hoped I could wish it away that approach ain’t goin’ so well! So I’m inspired and I, too, will now try to think like a thin person. Go Us!

  230. Michelle

Long time reader, but nary a commenter (well, I’ve squeaked out a few).
One thing you should know about me, hmm, I’m a stay at home mom that lives in NoWhereville Indiana.
And I have to add, you’ve some wonderfully entertaining writing skillz, lady.

  231. emily

I read your blog because you remind me of my mom (don’t take that the wrong way – she is my best friend!) and your writing helps me learn more about what it was like to be her with small children. About me – really dirty socks make my teeth hurt – ugh – so gross.

  232. Evelyn

Since this is my first visit to your lovely blog, I’m not de-lurking but just poppin in to say hello. Also, sicne I think my comment is number 287, apparently, you rock!

  233. furrykids

De-lurking only because I feel guilted into it. 🙂
Two things about me: Thinking of witty comments is way too taxing, and I can definitely relate to your posts about the aerobic dance class.

  234. Nicole

I´ve been reading you since the old agedandconfused days long before you were pregnant with Gabby.
Hmm, I can´t come up with any funny fact about myself so I´ll just give you some boring stuff. I´m 25, no kids, studying psychology in Berlin, Germany. Oh and I´m insanely jealous of your shiny awesome hair.

  235. Gabby

    Hi Y
I started reading your blog because I too grew up in a church environment. You remind me of so many things I went through back in the days. I was not “allowed” to wear pants. So I went through hell in Junior High and in High School with having to wear skirts every single day. That was so embarrasing. Even now, at 28 I am still embarrased by it. All of my High School friends still now me as “the girl who used to wear skirts everyday”. ALso, your personality is somewhat like mine. I am “afraid” of what my parents might say if they find out I drank a beer or two. I feel like they are going to scold me forever because to them that is SO BAD and you are going to hell for the rest of your life!
SO that is why I am addicted to your blog…
Keep on going. Oh, and dont even keep putting yourself down by saying you are fat and whatnot.
You are beautiful inside and out.
I will leave it at that.
    Love
    A new true friend
    Gabby

  236. Kira

Ahem. Ok, then. I have a friend crush on you (it’s true! I told Mir so just the other…uh…month or so!), and I have three kids too! No baby girls, though.

  237. tracie

Delurking from Texas…I’ve commented a few times….but not enough where you’d know who I was…eh….whatevs….you’d be cool as hell to hang out with, I do know that!

  238. Chase

I’m delurking all over the place lately, it seems. Think I need to have that checked out.
    Hi from Frisco, TX. 🙂
One thing you should know about me. I like cheesecake. Scratch that…I LOVE cheesecake. And in the last few months, have become quite the cheesecake chef.
I’ll make one today in honor of this delurking. How’s about a Butterfinger one? Yeah. That’ll do.

  239. Susan

Hi, this is my second time to comment here. I actually delurked to comment on your permanent marker on the computer screen post — because I couldn’t wait to find out how you fixed it. What you don’t know about me … I’m a dork.

  240. Jessi

Delurking after a year or so of reading…how sad is that? I love the honesty in your blog, and how you write like you’d talk. Something you should know about me…I’ve had a blog for years, but can’t seem to really break the LiveJournal habit. Also, I love coffee and am terrified of falling. Even the drop on the ferris wheel freaks me out.

  241. L

Hey Y! I’ve been reading your blog a really long time, but have never commented (I lurk on many blogs). But anyway, I enjoy the way you write and love to look at pictures of your gorgeous family. What you don’t know about me is I’m pregnant with my 2nd son.

  242. abi

    Y oh Y,
Hi! I’ve been reading your site since Octoberish – found you via BlogHer. I have a husband, two kids, a cat, and a blog of my own on vox. I had my tonsils taken out when I was six, and I think you’re terrific and honest and real and… one of my internet heroes. (Creepy? Sorry!) Partly because of your honesty here on your blog, I’ve been encouraged to take a harder look at my own awful habits and the things that are keeping me from losing weight and being a healthier mom for my kids – so, thanks. I should’ve told you this before.

  243. Darlene

    hi Y –
I’ve been reading for a year now or more, can’t remember how I found your site. Your site makes me laugh on a regular basis. I’m not one for commenting not sure why I guess because I don’t have a whole lot of time on my hands these days…. something about me – I have a 11 month old daughter…

  244. Darlene Gage

    hi Y –
I’ve been reading for a year now or more, can’t remember how I found your site. Your site makes me laugh on a regular basis. I’m not one for commenting not sure why I guess because I don’t have a whole lot of time on my hands these days…. something about me – I have a 11 month old daughter…

  245. Liz

I just started reading you a few days ago…apparently I’m a little late. But now I’m here to stay…although I won’t move in…I’ll just visit. You seem like you have enough going on without adding another member to your household.
One thing…I love animals, especially dogs…my husband and I have 3 rambunctious dogs (no kids yet, although we also have 2 cats…)

  246. Jamie

I’m a lurker and mom to two little girls from Nashville. I don’t really like country music. I once sold socks to Reba McEntire. She was bitchy to me.
I love your writing. You’re funny and you are also a great photographer.

  247. Lori

Hey Y! I’ve emailed you a couple of times before but have never left a comment on your blog. I think you are hilarious and I wish we lived closer so we could hang out! I live in KY ….I have 2 kids – Jackson, 4, and Emma who will be 3 next month. Something about me…..we just got a new puppy who is using our house as his own personal bathroom! No fun!

  248. Dawn

delurking. been reading here quietly for a while now. i think i may have left a comment or two.
something you should know about me: i have *no* idea how i got here, but i keep coming back!

  249. mischiefmom

I almost never leave a comment but I like to stop by every now and then and read. Hmmm, about me…. I have two daughters ages 2 yrs and 6 mos. I’ve been unsuccessful in loosing weight so I’ve tried a new tactic and instead of working out to loose weight and to fit into smaller clothes, I’ve been training to one day be in a triathlon! call me crazy, but it keeps me going on my workouts.

  250. Katie

I read often, comment occasionally. Do you want to hear how lazy I am? I’d comment more often but the stupid “remember me?” feature never remembers me.

  251. MommaD

    Hi Y!
Delurking to say you routinely make me laugh out loud and that, on some days, is no small feat. I’ve got two little boys and work from home.

  252. Jenn

    Delurking here –
Something that you should know about me….my landlord is just like yours. I love your blog adn your wit!
    Jenn

  253. Stacy

    Hmm, what to say…
I watched Crank three times yesterday. I’m not as lame as that makes me sound, seriously. 🙂

  254. tonya

Hi! I have commented a couple times – but I read you ALL the time.
My husband and I consult the Magic 8 Ball for advice, as the 8 Ball never lies. : )

  255. Naomi

I’m delurking, came across your site through a friends’ blog on livejournal.
We share the battle with the scale, and I love your photos.
One thing you should know about me: I’m a Native American woman in Minnesota who apparently likes to lurk on blogs. :^)

  256. Lauren

One thing you should know about me is that even though I know what you look like from your site, I always picture you as Vanessa from Six Feet Under (Rico’s wife)…and also, I would love to look like you – have your hair and curves – but I also totally understand how not helpful (and actually kind of annoying) it is when people tell you that even though you feel so crappy about your looks …

  257. D

    It’s me, delurking, sortta.
You should know I don’t usually comment if there are more than 10 other commenters ahead of me because I think you are soooo popular that you’d never notice little ol’ me.
But I read you a lot!

  258. C

    Y;
I love you and your blog! I’ve wanted to comment forever but am finally delurking. My interesting thing is I broke my leg 2 days ago while at roller derby practice.

  259. Juanita

Long time reader delurking to say hello! Love your blog and the pics of your gorgeous children! One thing you should know about me is that I get emotional sometimes when I look at my daughter too, because even now, five years later, I can’t believe that I am fortunate enough to be her mother. She is my everything and I would prolly die without her. (inadverdent weep here)

  260. Justine

    Hi Y,
I have been reading your blog for a very very long time… I have actually been reading your blog since your name was Aged and Confused !!!! I have some of the same struggles as you have in life and I actually feel like I know you and your family personally….Even though I have never communicated with you….. You make me laugh when I am down….Keep the post coming….If you ever stopped I would go CRAZY !!!!!!!! Take Care…..

  261. Angel

I’ve posted occassionally. I love your blog, I am in WA and I really find your blog inspiring, as cheesy as it is, you do motivate me.

  262. cee

“Hey!!” Hmmm, one thing about me….?
I’ve been around for a looong time! Even back when you were at that wild TampaTantrum partay!!
Love, love your writing! The mister knows when I’m reading you… I’m always laughing out loud! …now, wonders if you’ll even see me waaay down here at #334…. heh!

  263. Annie

Hi! Semi de-lurking. I’ve commented a few times before.
Anyway, I love your blog, like all 330+ people here! Here’s my interesting thing, I just bought a MacBook. I think it’s pretty interesting!!

  264. Ashley Smith

Here de-lurking. I read all the time, but never comment. One thing about me: I live in Canada

  265. chrissylas

Hey Y, I comment occasionally but you’ve never responded to me (kinda makes me sniffle a bit). I love your blog (loooove it) and I suppose the one thing about me is that I am going to graduate in May with my BA in History and I’m currently hoping and praying that I can get a job within the videogame industry. (I know, odd major for my career aspirations)

  266. Lisa O

I’ve commented from time to time but I’m sure you don’t “know” me. Anyway I am a bit taller than you but weight wise and proportionally we are almost identical. When I see your honest pictures of yourself I think you are SOO beautiful (I SWEAR it – oops don’t tell your dad I said SWEAR) and that has helped me to stop some of the negative self talk. I identify with you like no other blog I read (and I read a LOT of blogs).

  267. Mandi

Hello, I am an avid reader and I come here each day to look for updates.
One thing about me: I like to knit.
You are a very popular lady Y!! Enjoy your ‘fame’.

  268. Kathy

Wow, so many lurkers!!! I thought I was the only one that lurked regularly without leaving a comment. You are such a good source of therapy, you should get paid big time to blog. Honestly, Y, you and your family, and families like yours, is what makes this country great. I love to read about the things you tackle (weight, and cabinets) cause it makes me feel not as lonesome out here. Thank you and keep on keepin’ on. God bless you and your whole family.

  269. ishouldbeworking

I comment here fairly often, but I’ll throw in my 2 cents.
I also fight the weight battle, and this year I am 1)turning 40 and 2)starting college to get my Bachelor’s Degree. Starting college happens first.

  270. lastewie

    I’m pro-choice!
    I’m unemployed!
    Those two things aren’t related!
(I don’t THINK they are, anyway!!!)
    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  271. anonymous age 64

One thing about me? Can’t be done. I am 64, married 31.5 years, currently spending most of my time in the mountains fo Mexico.
In May 2005, I started the Atkins Diet, the real one, not the one most people do where they cut back on carbs, no supplements,no fiber, don’t read the book, then complain they almost killed themselves.
This is the greatest diet in the world for those who have any discipline at all. The best part is properly done there is a total absence of hunger.
The best book is the 1992 version, available inSalvation Army thrift shops everywhere.

  272. linda

Hi! I love reading about your aerobic dancing experiences because (are you ready for this?) I teach aerobic dancing! Just a couple of nights a week, but I’ve done so for over 25 years. It’s a super mental health medicine, and helps keep me in my jeans!

  273. cassie

Ok, that IS a real email address. And you want to know something about me? Um, I have 2 cats (ok, a cat and a 10 week old kitten!!) and work for a kite manufacturer. WOO! Check out my blog, theres a little more there. 🙂 But really, I love reading your blog. You crack me up, and I think you’re pretty much awesome.
    Eyespeak

  274. Lala

I’ve read your blog for about a bazillion years (pre pre pre G unit) but I never comment because I am lazy at commenting. I comment on flickr because you are killing me with the puppy cuteness! something about me, I just lost my dream job to someone that knows nothing about my line of work!!!

  275. Michelle

I started reading your site about 4 or 5 months ago. Love it! You have the same sense of humor as my sister, who has just started reading you, too.
I don’t have a blog but use to. I check/read you every day. I live in the Lancaster area, north of you. And, I’m Latina, too! Married with 2 step kiddos, one of my own and one more on the way. Three teens and a baby…What was I thinking? LOL OH, and I’m 35.

  276. Sarah

Delurking. I’ll admit that I’m only a periodic reader though. I read most of the posts but usually read them three or four at a time, which is why I don’t tend to comment. Because I’m a typically behind the times. I’m typically that way with most blogs I read though =) As for how long I’ve been reading…I really don’t know. At least it was before my current blog.
Anyway, something about me? Um. Something significant and meaningful? Hm.
Okay, instead how about a secret? Boyfriend took me engagement ring shopping three times in the week before the New Year. We selected the ring and found out that because my finger is so small (size 4) we have to get it special ordered, which takes nearly three months. We’ve started sorting out the wedding date and party and looking at houses and I AM SO EXCITED!!!! I just am not allowed to tell anyone until he gets the ring and proposes.
Boyfriend should know I can’t keep a secret worth beans. He’s killing me.
And that is all there is to know for right now. I love your blog and look forward to reading for a long while to come.

  277. Velma

I have commented before, but not in 2007.
One thing you should know about me is that I am the best packer you have ever seen. I once moved the entire contents of my studio apartment from Boston to Chicago in a Subaru hatchback, including 6 bookcases, an air conditioner, and far too many cheesy romance novels.

  278. CarrieH.

I’ve been reading your blog for what seems like forever…
Your writing makes me happy even when you are feeling down. Thanks for always being so open and so real.
I’m not a commenter, it’s just in my nature to lurk.
But know that you are inspiring and funny and wonderful.
About me, I am a 31 year old lesbian with no kids but whose biological clock ticks in double time. I appreciate being able to get my kid fix from your blog.
    Really, thanks for being here.

  279. gc

Do I still count as a lurker even though I’ve already met you in person?
Oh, the one thing, hmm…how about the fact that I’m double-jointed?

  280. Kris Herbst

I’m not sure if I’ve ever commented or not but I read and love your blog.
The ducks… I’m still laughing. Your love of your family and the humorous way you see life–it makes my day.

  281. andrudeness

So I hopped over via Mrs. Flinger took a peek around (you have beautiful pictures! and a very nice color scheme) and was to about to hop back when I realized… you CrAzY girl… THAT’S A NO-NO this week!
I dont want my ONE THING to be… I was a dork, so…
I am a girl named Ryan.
(Does that classify as two things?)

  282. M&Co.

    Left my real e-mail address.
One thing about me? Hhhhmmmm. I think I’m more neurotic than I seem in my blog. If that’s possible.

  283. stephanie

Okay, left my real address. Glad to see you blogging again. I love reading your blog and was getting sad that you hadn’t posted.
Now on to something about me….. I am almost 28 weeks pregnant and lovin’ on an Arby’s jamoca shake right now. YUMMMMMM!!

  284. Corey

I’ve read you for a long time, since the other address. I think your life is so interesting! I’m a college student, English major.

  285. Amaranta

i vascillate between laughing when i read your blog and thinking you bring much of it upon yourself… good luck

  286. Karin

I have read your blog for a very long time, never commented, but I did send you an email once. I always enjoy your stories and your enthusium!

  287. clearlydistracted

I’ve commented here before, but not much. I know this will be lost in the shuffle of your bazillion comments, but I feel obligated to add something memorable because I’m a rule-follower.
I have 3 kids, boy (age 6) -boy (age 3) -girl (14 months), and one of them is named Ethan.
So what I’m saying is that we’re exactly the same in ever way. 🙂

  288. katie

unveiling myself..I read daily..well check in for reading daily..lol. I just had my baby..just haven’t blogged about it yet.

  289. Pam

Love your blog. I want to be a famous blogger. I have a blog but it’s not famous material, trust me.

  290. Amy

Alright, you drug me out into the open.
One thing you should know about me? I haven’t told my husband I stopped taking birth control.

  291. tiffers

    i’m tiffany.
you should know that the first time i ever read your blog, you were talking about aerobic dance and i peed my pants a little.
    it was THAT funny.

  292. mrsgryphon

    *waves*
I’ve been reading (commenting once in a rare while) for ages… one thing you should know about me? I once moved 4 provinces away from all of my family and friends, but took my husband with me!

  293. kelley

OK…I will de-lurk if you insist. I have enjoyed your blog for a year or more–you’re freakin’ hilarious!
Something about me? My husband thinks I am insane because I talk about the people whose blogs I read like I know them personally. Like “Oh, you should hear what happened to Yvonne today…she was nearly killed by ducks!” etc… you get the point. Anyway, you probably won’t even read this anyway at comment 350-ish, but I look forward to reading more about your cerazy life, and will even try to comment sometimes!

  294. Dawn

    *waves*
So, I’ve commented a few times and even emailed. Stalkeriffic! And my little “about me” fact is I started a new job and don’t get to read blaaaawgs as much as I used to, but I always check you.

  295. Anna

Delurking…one thing about me…hmm I work at night as a nurse and Im too tired to come up with something interesting after 13 hours at work 🙂

  296. Oma Flinger

Just so you know. Yes, I gave birth to Mrs. Flinger who openly admits to having sex, talks about her hayhay and drinks a virgin martini cause she isn’t.
I needed to de-lurk for my thearpy session this week.
    *sigh* Thanks

  297. tonya cinnamon

    hi Y
i am tonya long time fan have commented a lot just not lately..
i am now delurking for ya 😉
one thing about me…. i am a taotal carmel freak..
    i loves mes some carmel… ohh i am weak…
    😀

  298. Christy

Run of the mill stalker type-single mom of two girls and an accountant who lives vicariously through the likes of well uumm you.

  299. stepmomof2

Hi, de-lurking to let you know that I love your blog and have probably been reading for over a year now. The first picture I remember seeing was of G when she was smaller drinking your green tea frap from Starbucks; after that I was hooked. Keep up the good work!

  300. Claire

    Greetings from the UK!
I’m with you with all the farting, eating and boinking!
What more is there to say?

  301. Angie

I’ve been reading your blog for at least six months now and have even bookmarked it. I love reading your posts and think you’re hilarious. I just recently started blogging so feel free to stop by and say hello!

  302. Paije

I’ll join the effort. I’ve been reading you FOREVER. Way back in the day of your old blog. You always crack me up and I love to see your family! Now for some info no one will give a crap about – I’m 41 and pregnant with my 2nd child. Help!

  303. metalia

    Holy Jebus.
I doubt you’re even going to find this amongst your other 391 comments, but all the same:
    A) I’m not really de-lurking; I just found you today.
    B) In the spirit of your request, however, hi! And something you don’t know about me is that I’ve never watched a soap opera in its entirety. Once, I watched Passions for 25 minutes, because my friend told me that there was a monkey nurse who had wedding fantasies about one of the characters, and I flat out did not believe her. After seeing the monkey in a wedding dress, I was horrified, and stood corrected. Sadly, I was fascinated as well. This is why I do not watch soap operas. I’m obsessed with what I saw until this day. (This is actually from my “100 things” list, so I’m sort of cheating, but it’s something I feel you should know about me, nonetheless.)

  304. teachbroeck

    HI!
I am addicted to your site. Seriously, I have suffered withdrawls in the past.
I think you should know that sometimes I hide snacks in the house so my daughter and hubby don’t HOG them. Mature heh?

  305. Carrie

Hi! Bad delurker here, only I’m not really a delurker. Really, I’m not. I am a commenter but for some reason don’t here. It’s me though, not you. Heh. I SO struggle with my weight and sometimes you just, I don’t know. Sound like me, make me really think, just hit too close to home, maybe. That is quite ridiculous though and I won’t do it any longer. Let the commenting begin!

  306. June

I haven’t been reading for long but I enjoy your site very much.
My interesting fact – my brother is married to my husband’s sister and they have a little girl who looks EXACTLY like me!

  307. Lisa S.

One of the masses to de-lurk. Long time reader, first time commenter. One thing to know… Your blog is one of the few non-crafty/knit blogs I read. Boring. Sorry, not much to say after so many comments!

  308. vickie

i am delurking as requested. I mean I think I’ve commented before but maybe only once. I love my regular blog reading when I get to work and when I take a break and I come here often for the laughter cause geez who doesn’t need a good laugh occasionally. Thanks for sharing and making me laugh so often.
hmmm. what you should know about me. All I can think of is this very moment that my heart aches to be with my 2 children who are at the park right now with daddy (thank god for that at least) while I am here at work, graphic designing and wishing I could be smelling their cotton candy cheeks and feeling their soft hair. Hearing Julian’s sweet stories and hugging my sweet Camilles little 2 yr old body close to me. sniff.

  309. Alice

    Hi Y,
I’ve read your blog for a year or so — you rock! I have a very innocuous blog that my husband doesn’t even read, and when I described your post about PigHunter getting his shit snipped, he turned all gray and clammy.
My interesting fact: I have two lovely young daughters and there will not be any “joy unexpected” due to the miracle of Mirena, which is a good thing because I’m 45 and too old for that shit. 🙂

  310. shannon in ny

Hi, I’m Shannon and you already know what you need to know about me….I Love Elliotttttt Yamin!! 😉

  311. carolyn

Hi Yvonne, I read your blog all the time. I’m even reading your archives. I think it’s great, I love the way you write, so funny. I feel for you with the weight issues, I have them too. Keep up the good work.

  312. Jenny

    Delurker
Hello, Y. Love to read the stories about your family! You’ve got great and beautiful children and a wonderful husband.
And what do you need to know about me?
I’m absolutely horrible about posting to my own site. I love to read what’s going on in others lives because mine is so absolutely mindnumbingly the same every day.

  313. Tiffany

I’m here – I’ve commented once or twice, but I read all the time. You make me laugh – I adore you and your family.
As for a fun fact about me – I’m a lead singer/bassist in a rock band and mom to one of the goofiest little toddlers around.

  314. Kirsten M.

Love yer blog–I hope you keep writing. I’ve been using your “I am not my cabinets” mantra for the past month and I feel *so* much better (hate hate hate my kitchen cabinets too).
What you should know: I’m a 37 year old first time mother and reading mom blogs at work is my guilty pleasure (better than doughnuts).

  315. Yvonne

I have been reading your BLOG on and off for several months and have commented before. I am a 44 year old SAHM of a 4 year old boy. We also share the same name, it’s not a common name.

  316. Randy

    Hey Y,
I’ve been reading you since soon after you started blogging. Your writing has helped me through some dark times and I want to thank you for it. The thing you should know about me is Iam the proud dad of one of the best 14 year old daughters in the world.

  317. Michelle

Y- you are such a nut!! Where does all this come from you are constatnly thinking and getting some sort of response to your blogs…You go girl……Wine tasting in the near few weeks….Now, that for SURE will be something to write about!…tee hee..Glad we are friends good thing for kids….Love Ya! Michelle

  318. Celeste

I’ve been reading since sometime last year (April? May? I don’t know. Does it matter? I’m guessing not). Anyway. I read your blog because you consistantly bring The Funny and I totally want to hang out with you in real life.
Something you should know about me? Take your pick: I just got engaged, I don’t have a blog of my very own because I couldn’t stand it if I got hatemail (don’t people have anything better to do?), or I once unintentionally broke into someone’s house.

  319. tracy

i’m a little late to be hopping on this bandwagon, but hello, y! i’ve commented once or twice and i think i’ve been reading your blog for over a year now.

  320. Amanda

Oh, oh, oh. I have been reading your blog for about a year or so and check in everyday to make sure you are still there. I cried when I read about Gabby getting sick and laughed at your cabinets. Thank you for your words and your honesty. See you tomorrow.

  321. Jessica

Delurking because I follow the internet trends.
I have a 70 pound Chocolate Lab who likes to sit on my lap. If your puppy gets that big, don’t encourage him to do this or you will never again be able to watch TV without a furry, heavy lap blanket draped over you.

  322. Claire

Hi! I’m a bit late on the delurking thing, but whatevs. Hmm, random thing about me? My dad swears up and down that I nearly got eaten by a leopard when I was little! We were at a zoo in the south of France when I went frolicking past the leopard enclosure when WHAM!! The big kitty threw himself against the plate glass window.
    I didn’t even notice..

  323. Debbie

Ok, if you insist, I’ll delurk. I’ve been reading for about a year and a half now, and enjoying every minute! Thanks for sharing your life with a bunch of strangers. It’s very brave; I don’t think I could be that brave, myself, even though I have a fantasy about having my own blog and people reading every day. Ah, well. I’ll have to settle for friends and family at least pretending to be interested in the pictures I post on Flickr of my kids almost every day.
Now, one thing you should know about me? How about two? While we have very different lives in some ways, we have these two things in common:
    1) Post-baby struggle with weight. My younger son will be 2 1/2 on Monday, and I’m still way overweight. I hate it, but can’t seem to fix it.
    2) We’re moms who REALLY care about their kids. I have two sons, and can’t imagine life without them. We’ve decided that we’re done having kids, but you sometimes make me wonder if that’s not really what’s to be. I guess I’ll have to wait and see what the rest of life brings me.
Ok, so I’ve rambled on WAY too long, so let me end by saying thank you again. You’re awesome.

  324. Lana

I am delurking in the spirit of the week. I have said Hi on here before, just not as often as I should. I have been reading your blog for a while. Ok, have a great weekend! 🙂

  325. Jen W.

Something about myself: I want to be on The Amazing Race, but I don’t have the nerve to ask anyone to watch my 2 kids for 2 months, or however long I’d be away. Also, I’m afraid I would cry on TV!
Thanks for sharing all of your hysterical stories. This is definitely the blog that is most likely to make me pee in my pants.

  326. langus

Hi! I have been reading you since way back before Gabby was born. I found you right when you were getting well from your depression. I have been here ever since.
One thing to know about me; every morning when I log onto gmail to check my mail, I see you on the chat thing and think about clicking it and talking to you, but I never have!!

  327. Paige

    Hi Y!
    I’ve commented before.
One thing you should know about me? I cringe when I read your deragatory comments about your own weight loss, because I want you to be as proud of it as you should be. You’ve done so well, and the setbacks you’ve had are SO NORMAL. I should know. I’m so proud of you for that.
Ok. Technically that’s not about me, but whatever. It’s about me reading you, how’s that??

  328. angie

Technically, I comment here every once in a while, but I’ll comment anyway.
    Something about me…hmm….
OMG, I have to copy from Amanda because it really is true. I played with Barbies until I was 14, too!! No joke! God, I am so embarrassed. No wonder I didn’t get kissed until I was 15!!
Keep writing about anything and everything! I love it all!!

  329. carolyn

    Hi Y,
I have been reading since before Gabby was conceived.I rarely comment cause I usually end up writing something dumb. I really enjoy your aerobic dance stories so keep it up, you’re entertaining hundreds of readers! One thing you should know about me is that I secretly like watching Walker Texas Ranger(don’t tell anyone)!

  330. suzyQ

OMG girl…how popular are you bitch? (said with all love…) I just had to comment because I want to make some more work for you and I DO expect a personalized email back 😀
Something you don’t know about me…hmmm, once I went to NYC to meet a bunch of people I had met over the internet…oh wait, you were there so you know that one *wink*
Okay bizarre-o shit about me that no one knows except a select few people who would be killed by me if they ever admitted they knew this about me? I can’t look into a mirror in the dark. Haven’t been able to since I was a little kid. I don’t know why either! I guess I’m afraid something on the “other side” may grab me and pull me into that “other world”? Or maybe I would see nothing at all as vampires or ghosts do? I dunno…crazy, but I swear it’s true!
Can ya tell I’ve delved into the wine this evening?
Anyway, Happy New Year sweetie! I’m still reading faithfully, even though it may only be once a month or so…but I DO get caught up :o)

  331. tinah

Hi, I’m delurking too. Something you should know about me: I started a daycare in my home three months ago after not working for 8 years to stay home with my three kids.

  332. girlplease

    something about me:
    well,
    I just farted.
    No?
    How about: um…..
Naa, I’ll stick with I just farted.

  333. Andrea

I’m out of town and playing catch-up on the few blogs that I love to read…
I have been reading for over a year, maybe? I think I have commented a few times.
I love your writing, your honesty, and most of all your FABULOUS sense of humor!!
Something to know about me? I love to be organized, my cup of coffee in the morning, my son’s belly laugh, my husband’s smile, how my life-long friends just understand me (even when I live on the East Coast and rarely see them), The Barenaked Ladies, and dark chocolate. I HATE being late. I’m a little OCD about the oven and doors being locked.
Love your blog! Keep sharing your life with us!

  334. Missie May

Okay, okay, I’m delurking. I’ve been reading your blog for a few months now….found it through a link in another blog. You are hilarious, and funny, and real, and I love that. So I keep coming back.
One thing you should know about me: I’m CDO, which is OCD arranged alphabetically, as it should be.
    Keep on!

  335. Wander

    Hi Y,
You seem like an authentic individual. I *really* wish you’re weren’t Republican. I read you anyway and probably would prefer you as a friend over some more famous Democratic bloggers.
I think you should write a memoir someday about growing up as the daughter of your particular father. There’s something out there you might want to read–Oranges are not the only fruit by Jeannette Winterson.
Best to you, and I’ll keep checking in.
    Wanderer

  336. debutaunt

    Faithful reader. You know that.
I can say about anything online, but in person I’m really prudish. You don’t need to email me. You gots too many already.

  337. Yolanda

Been reading your blog for years now, definitely one of my favorites. Your weight loss was part of my inspiration last year to finally drop the 40 pounds I’ve been needing to lose for years now. Unfortunately I’ve packed most of it back on but I’m back to focusing on getting healthy instead of looking at the stupid scale.

  338. rachel

why do all the fun things on teh interwebs happen when I can’t be online? feh. the Nasty Sick Viruses of 2007 have hit our house this week, proving yet again that you CAN get sick despite being on antibiotics – 3/5 people in this house are sick, and 4/5 are on abx treating Lyme Disease. (I’m in the not-currently-sick category, recovering from pleurisy; AND I’m in the not-on-abx category. yay me!)
Thing you should know about me: besides the part where I get all the weird ass diseases (I mean really – pleurisy? isn’t that something you get in a historical romance?). When my mom was pregnant with me, she ate steak tartare, and contracted toxoplasmosis (see – I was serious about the weird diseases!), and the parasites ate the retina out of the center of my right eye, and a little nibble in my left. So I have no depth perception, which means volleyball is evil and don’t ask me to parallel park.
Love your blog, and first found you through Chris (of Notes from the Trenches), who I have almost met several times.

  339. barnmouse

Hi. I’m a shamless lurker. I love your site and read it all the time. Also, luuurve the adorable puppy! I miss the days when mine was that small.
I don’t like it when strangers touch me. A guy infront of me in a store turned around and nearly ran into me (total mistake, not anyone’s fault) but then he touched my arm and said something about being sorry, but I couldn’t tell you what that something is because OH MY GOD DON’T TOUCH ME! (which I almost screamed out loud, but thankfully did not). I have a slightly larger than average space bubble.

  340. Ms. Quinlan

    Hi!
Since you asked me to come out, here I am!
    Knock Knock
    Who’s there?
    Kit-Kat
    Kit-Kat who?
    Kit-Kat the ex-Lurker that’s who!
Even though my real name starts with L, I’m frequently also known as Kit-Kat to a few of people who I’m close to.
You have done a good job! The monkey nurse story was so friggin’ hilarious!

  341. Oh

My name is Onna. I found your site through Bren. I am a new mother (8.5 months) and I really enjoy reading your site, because you are realistic about motherhood and your weight. I have struggled and still struggle with my weight. It’s wonderful to read such a refreshing view of someone who is also battling with it.

  342. Chrissy

Ok so I’m a little late to the party.
I’m a serial lurker so I’ve had alot of stops to make.
Just wanted to open the blinds and give you a peek at me so I can let you know you are one of my morning stops everyday. You’re posts always give me a smile to start my day. Keep it up.
(and aerobic dancing, seriously, keep posting those little gems)

  343. SharonO

    1) I’ve read your blog forever.
    2) I’m a habitual lurker.
    3) I’m always running late.
    oops, that’s 3 things. Well, apparently…
    4) I don’t follow directions well.
    *damn*

  344. Shylah

Am I too late for delurking week? Meh, I don’t care, I’m commenting anyway. Have I ever told you that your blog reminds me of neapolitan ice cream? I get all warm and nostalgic looking at the pretty colors.
I’ve been reading you since you found out you were pregnant with Gabby (wow, it’s hard to believe it’s been that long already.) I love your Aerobic dance posts, too. Heck, I love all your posts. [/smoke-blowing]
Something about me. Hm. I had a foster mother when I was 13 who couldn’t remember my name, so she asked me if I had any nicknames. I told her that my mother called me “Lizzy” (to this day I don’t know why) and so the woman called me Liz. When she was mad at me, I was Elizabeth.

I’m taking advantage of delurking week to … well… delurk. Yours is the only one I’ll post on, and then I’ll go back to pretending I’m not spending all my time reading the blogs of people I don’t know but really wish I did.
Something to know about me: I have a 19-month-old daughter, and we watch Baby Einstein DVDs a LOT. There’s a little girl on the Baby daVinci one who kills me with looking like Gabby. Just thought you’d like to know your girl’s got a doppelganger and she’s FAMOUS!
So that’s not really about me, it’s about you, but that’s what I’ve got today.

  346. LCA

OK, here I am! I’m a late delurker, and I apologize. I found you through Amalah, and I love your perspective and humor.
What you should know about me:
I’m 24 and I’m super-passionate about getting into grad school. I have a wonderful boyfriend, and we’ve been together for 2.5 years, and we live together, but I have no interest in getting married. Sometimes, I secretly wish I could be excited about that, lusting over diamonds and planning a wedding, rather than getting all hot and bothered over grad school.

Hi! I’ve been reading your blog for years. I used to leave comments quite frequently, now I mostly lurk. I also have 3 (all girls) children, am 31 years old and love reading your blog…I can relate to alot of things you write about.

  348. Rachael

Holy Moly, you have a very large following!
I have read your blog for a couple years now. I’m 25 (and have decided to stay that age) and have two girls aged 3 and 1. And I spend entirely too much time on the internet.
I like the way your write. I love your heartfelt entries. I love your nostalgic entries. I love your drunken entries. I love your everyday life entries. You really do have a talent for writing.

  349. Lisa

I would love to have you as my neighbour. I’d have you over for coffee, the kids could play together, hubbies could hunt moose together and you would make me laugh my ass off….ALOT!

  350. Rebecca

Hi! I’ve been reading you a while now – you were one of the first bloggers I took to.
As I’m in the birthday spirit (it’s Friday, since you ask), my interesting fact is:
I share my birthday with Dolly Parton, Janis Joplin, Edgar Allen Poe and Paul Cezanne and really, that explains a lot.

I have been reading your blog for sometime, but in light of the plague that recently overtook my upper respiratory system, I haven’t been awake long enough to read the past few days.

So I’m de-lurking. I’m Katie, I live in New Orleans. And one thing you should know about me…I do stupid things, or more like, I just have really bad luck/timing.

I am engaged to a guy who’s Jewish and last year (pre-engagement, still at the meeting the family and getting comfortable around them stage) we went to his parent’s house for a Passover satyr. We did the whole prayer she-bang (which was incredibly confusing given that the whole book is written backwards and in a different language) and then started serving dinner. For some reason they decided to let me serve myself first, so I got a piece of the brisket, some salad and as I started pouring the salad dressing all over my salad I realized that it was gravy. Like for the meat. And I ate it anyway, even after my loving fiance pointed it out to everyone at dinner.

Keep on blogging, you never cease to amuse me!

Hi Y, my name is Ashley. I love your blog and your kids and your fabulous tales of aerobic dancing. I struggle with exercise too (too expensive! too hurt-y! wah!) and you are an inspiration – not just that It Can Be Done, but that You Have To Keep At It. I hate that.
One thing about me: My boyfriend of 5 years is moving into my New York City studio apartment in July, and I am TER.RI.FIED! He is great, but seriously… the only door is to the bathroom! And I like “Me Time.” Also I used to dream of being on Broadway. Now I just work there (okay that’s two things).

  353. Sharon

    Delurking in progress!
I’m going to give you TWO fun facts.
    1. I play both accordion and tuba. Embarrassing, but true.
    2. Your kitchen could be my kitchen’s cousin. We should have a bad kitchen club.

  354. Jenni

Delurking! I’m late! Hi, I am Jenni! I am in fact an aerobics dance instructor! Also, my husband had a vasectomy this year which I believe is how I stumbled across your blog! The picture of of you pointing happily at your husband’s crotch won my heart…

  355. Deborah

I love this blog. I have it in my favorites and try to check on it often. The one thing you don’t know about me: I am a 3x surrogate, having delivered 3 sets of twins (yup, you read that right) in 3 years. Two sets were for the same family, so now they have 4 kids under 4! Ha!

  356. Kelly

I’m here…delurking to say hi and that I think that you and your family are absolutely beautiful. I can see/feel the love you share.
    Happy New Year!

  357. Carol

Love your blog! You are funny, wonderful Mother with a great family and it’s nice to read here on some things that I’m not alone.
I have three kids ages 16, 10 and 3 and while reading some of your comments I found something I have in common with one of your readers, toxoplasmosis.

  358. Bethiclaus

I’m here…better late than never, and…hm…something you should know about me. Ah! I hope my baby Alliclaus turns out to be as hot a half-Latina as you!

  359. Deb

Wow, I thought I commented last week. Must have had a moment.
I’ve been reading for several months. I found you via another blog that I can actually get from work (work is severely monitored and curtailed as to where you can get to!)
I’m a single mom of 2 who lives in Florida. If I could move anywhere in the world, I’d move to Japan. Today! Of course, my kids would not be real happy and I’d be seriously missing my church, friends, and family.

    hey Y!
    i’m late.. yeah.. i know.
i’m here and am a lurker, and i love your blog! i’m not sure how long i’ve been reading you. hmm.. yeap.. can’t remember.
I’m the one that helped ya with your permanent marker situation on your screen.. remember?
    yes.. no, mb?

  361. firewings

I keep going to sites I love and notice that I totally missed the delurking that happened when my internet was out. *twitches*
Lessee…about me…I’m usually the girl that takes the last cookie and am always proud of it.

  362. Ephemeron

I’ve been reading your blog almost since the beginning. The only thing I can think of that you might remember me from is that I sent you something for Gabby while you were still pregnant.. the Fisher Price Aquarium thingy, I think.. my memory sucks lately. I think you’re awesome, and I love you!!

  363. Krissy

I’ve been reading your blog for at least a year now and in the spirit of delurking week, I’m happily replying to your request. I adore your blog; you’re funny, sincere and inspiring. One thing you should know about me is that I strive to be like you–in my writing and in life. This isn’t meant to suck up to you, it’s meant to just let you know that I love your site. Almost as much as I love chocolate. And that’s a lot.
Also? I’m sorry I didn’t write this earlier. I just got my internet back. But still! I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to delurk.

  364. Candy

Woman! I love reading your entries here! I feel like I’m part of your family. I worried about your children when they were sick. I’ve wanted to leave comments but you always have so many, I didn’t want to get lost in the shuffle.
One thing you should know about me? I’m an exotic dancer and I’m addicted to it! My blog is all about how I manage my real job as an administrative assistant for a fortune 500 company during the week and my fun job as an exotic dancer. I can’t say that my entries or my writings are all that interesting but in some ways my blog helps me cope.
    Thank you for you!
    Candy~

Hey woman, I am not going to de-lurk as well because I have been here for over a year now and have commented. What to tell you about me; mom of 2 TEENS, I have been married for 14.5 years, work full-time and love my job, part-time student, love to travel, am a christian (not a stuffy one), love life, have tons of energy (not always physical energy though), love to learn, love to dance, love to sing…
Anyways, that is me… I am sure you will not see this one now as I am REALLY late in the de-lurking category, but I have an excuse I was sunning my cold canadian ass in Mexico.
